We could say that it was a moment of magic from Kaoru Mitoma and a double from Yankuba Minteh that gave Brighton & Hove Albion a second triumph over Chelsea in a week, as they followed up their FA Cup win with a 3-0 victory in the Premier League on Friday.
The Seagulls went ahead in the 27th minute when Mitoma sensationally plucked Bart Verbruggen’s ball out of the sky before placing it beyond Filip Jorgensen’s grasp.
The home team managed to edge further ahead 11 minutes later through Minteh, who had only scored three league goals ahead of this fixture, and the Gambian then struck again after half-time to lead his side back to winning ways in the top flight.

It was a tight day for Mikel Arteta’s men, who struggled to find the creative spark they needed to unlock a stubborn home side defense until Merino replaced an ineffectual Raheem Sterling on the 69 minutes before turning a dour match on its head.
Mikel Merino came off the bench to hit a late match-winning double as Arsenal closed the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool to four points with a 2-0 win at relegation-haunted Leicester.
The Spain international powered home a brilliant header from Ethan Nwaneri’s cross on 81 minutes before timing his run to perfection to complete the win by sweeping home Leandro Trossard’s cross six minutes later.

Omar Marmoush, who had never scored for City, netted a 14-minute hat-trick while Erling Haaland picked up an injury.
Things were simply headlined by a brilliant first-half hat-trick from Omar Marmoush. However, the Norwegian’s forced withdrawal has left a dark cloud hanging over the Etihad Stadium.
It was his strike partner, Marmoush, who was the toast of Manchester earlier in the match, blowing away Newcastle with a superb treble. Late substitute James McAtee made it 4-0 from close range moments before Haaland had to be taken off.
Premier League Matchday 25: Liverpool contra Wolverhampton

After the positive result they had, Liverpool moved seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a nervy 2-1 victory over Wolves at Anfield.
It was a comfortable first half for the leaders, as Luis Diaz unconventionally opened the scoring, knocking into the net with his torso to notch his first goal since the turn of the year.
Diaz was central in earning his side’s second goal of the afternoon eight minutes before the interval. He gave Emmanuel Agbadou a nudge, forcing the Wolves defender to mis-kick a long ball forward before Jose Sa cleaned out the Liverpool winger in the box for a penalty.
Mohamed Salah duly converted for his 23rd Premier League goal of the season as Liverpool looked to be cruising to yet another three points. The Wolves came out fighting after the break, and Matheus Cunha forced a nervy finish when he sunk a sublime left-footed strike from outside the area to pull the visitors back into contention.
