Super Bowl

After almost two years since the QS and the Pro Junior competition arrived at the beautiful beaches of Cocoa Beach, Florida; that return will be from March 9 to 13. Ron Jon Quiksilver and Roxy Pro, along with Pro Juniors, in both the men’s and women’s categories, is back. Now we will be witnessing and enjoying the best QS competitors in the region.

With the new event in the women’s QS, former Championship Tour competitor and current SLO CAL Open champion in Morro Bay, Sage Erickson, as well as previous Roxy Junior Pro winner Caitlin Simmers, the two-time winner of event Pro Junior Alyssa Spencer, and more pro surfers are ready to put on a show at Shepard Beach Park.

In this event, we will have the joy of enjoying 48 top-level surfers who want to show that they are in excellent shape and that their only goal in this tournament is to take first place.

The Pro Juniors draw was dificult all over the world, and even more so after the stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The surfers who were about to be full-time in the QS division had to play a short season to try to prove that they were one of the best young talents in the world.

Subsequently, the World Surf League completely changed the regulations and, one of the main changes was the age restriction to Under-20 for competitors, and now the defending champion Swierkocki will have a second chance after the talent from Ventura, California, went into recess at No. 1.

The favorite surfers to win each of the 4 heats of this event are:

  • Lilie Kulber
  • Alexa Muss
  • Chelsea Roett
  • Molly Tuschen

Although this is a Junior tournament, we cannot let it go, since, in it, we will be able to enjoy the best junior surfers in the world, fighting to try to get the necessary points and thus, in the not too distant future, they can be part of the longed-for CT.
