At the time the world was created, Barbados was given a great deal of potential to become a surfer’s paradise. The location of this beautiful island in the Atlantic Ocean allows the waves to travel thousands of kilometers at the bottom of the sea to finally discharge all the energy that it developed during its long journey through the coral reefs of Barbados.

The Barbados Surf Pro will take place from Tuesday 28th March to Sunday 03rd April 2022. Both the men’s and women’s competitions will take place at the Soup Bowl in Bathsheba, St Joseph. We will have the opportunity to enjoy more than 200 surfers from South America, North America, and Europe.

This event is the one that will close the QS of North America; it will be a very hard-fought and great competition.

In each season, a QS regional champion receives the crown. Now, that title carries more weight, since, with the tours and competitions of the new format implemented by the WSL, these regional competitors qualify for the Challenger Series, which is the step before they can fulfill their dream of belonging to the Championship Tour (CT).
