The NFL heads into Week 15, and in one of the matchups to determine the worst team in the NFC, the Carolina Panthers host the Dallas Cowboys.
The Panthers have come close in their recent games but haven’t managed to seal the deal, losing last week to the Philadelphia Eagles 22-16.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys had been showing improvement but stumbled again, this time at home against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Why bet on the Carolina Panthers?
Just four more games and this nightmare will be over for the Carolina Panthers. Their 3-10 record is the second worst in the NFC and the third worst in the entire NFL, surpassed only by the 2-11 marks of the New York Giants and Las Vegas Raiders.
The Panthers have recently come close against very strong opponents but have failed to secure wins. First, it was a 27-30 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, who clinched victory with a Spencer Shrader field goal on the final play. Then, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers managed a game-tying field goal in the last play of regulation before winning in overtime (23-26).
Most recently, it was the Philadelphia Eagles who defeated them 20-16, thanks to a late fourth-quarter touchdown by Grant Calcaterra and a two-point conversion from Saquon Barkley.
Before these tough losses, the Panthers had achieved back-to-back wins (against the Giants and New Orleans Saints) for the first time in two years, with the last streak occurring between November and December of 2022. These promising results and their competitive showings against some of the league’s strongest teams can largely be attributed to Bryce Young’s improving performance. Thequarterback’s development is showing promise and might be laying the foundation for a better 2025 season.
Why bet on the Dallas Cowboys?
The Dallas Cowboys were riding a two-game winning streak and dreaming of securing a playoff spot via wild card. However, a special team’s error in the fourth quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals handed the game to their opponents, resulting in a 20-27 loss.
Now, with a 5-8 record, the outlook is bleak, and the team needs a miracle to surpass the Washington Commanders (8-5). As such, their focus is starting to shift toward next season. Still, they are determined to avoid falling further in the standings, making this upcoming game crucial.
The bad news for Mike McCarthy’s team is that the injury list continues to grow. The latest addition is linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, who will undergo knee surgery with no clear timeline for his return. This brings the number of injured Cowboys players to 13, including key names like quarterback Dak Prescott and guard Zack Martin.
Cooper Rush has been replacing Prescott and completed 16 of his 31 pass attempts in the last game versus the Bengals, totaling 183 yards and two touchdowns, though he also threw one interception.
Final Betting Analysis: Carolina Panthers vs. Dallas Cowboys
The last time these teams faced off was on November 19, 2023, with the Cowboys winning 10-33 as visitors. Carolina hasn’t won against Dallas since 2018, when they secured a 16-8 victory.
The odds at Gambyl Exchange favor the Carolina Panthers, with a Moneyline of 1.70, while the Dallas Cowboys are listed at 2.30.
This is one of those games where anything can happen due to the poor performance of both teams and their constant mistakes. However, we’re giving the edge to the Panthers, who have shown solid performances against stronger opponents and are playing at home. Go for the UNDER.
Go for a win for the Panthers. If you bet $100 at 1.70, you will gain $70 for a total payout of $170.
