NFL Betting Odds, Lines and News

The National Football League or NFL is home to some of the most action-packed games across all sports. With high stakes and fierce competition, NFL games make for fantastic spectator events and excellent betting opportunities.

The first step in betting on the NFL is choosing a bookmaker. The best sites will offer odds you can trust, fast payouts, and excellent customer service.

Once you’ve chosen a bookmaker, it’s time to make your wagers. NFL odds fluctuate with every game, so it’s best to be up-to-date on the NFL lines for every matchup. Once you find a good number, place your bet and it’ll be added to the NFL point spread or NFL Moneyline.

There’s plenty you can do outside of NFL betting as well. For example, fantasy NFL betting is becoming more popular every year. NFL Survivor Pools are another great way to make NFL betting fun, no matter how the teams are performing on the field.

Once you know NFL odds and NFL lines, it’s time to start making money. The NFL season never sleeps, so be sure to check in with your NFL sportsbook throughout the year. NFL betting never stops, and smart NFL bettors will always find a way to make money from NFL gambling.

How to Bet the NFL

Let’s get started with some simple tips to get started and how to bet on NFL Football games, NFL betting strategy, NFL spreads and Moneylines.

We’ll start with some basics about how NFL bets work so that by the time you finish you’ll know what you need to know about being successful betting on NFL Football.

NFL football wagers are very similar to college football wagers, just fewer games and larger point spreads. There are three ways of making nfl bets: traditional or Moneyline bets, Teasers and Buying Points which is best explained below.

How to Bet NFL Football – Traditional Bets

The most common way of betting the NFL is by placing a Moneyline or traditional bet. This is simply when you pick the winner of each game based on what you think the outcome will be. So if NFL team A is playing NFL team B, then NFL team A will win if they score more points than NFL team B.

The Moneyline in NFL betting is straightforward, although it can be confused with point spread bets in some cases, so here’s an example to help explain how it works:

NFL Football Game A

  1. NFL Team A -170 (Favorite)
  2. NFL Team B +140 (Underdog)

NFL Team A on the Moneyline is priced at -170. What that means is you’ll have to bet $170 to win $100 on NFL Team A winning.

NFL Team B, on the other hand, is a +140 underdog which means you’ll earn $140 for every $100 bet on Team B.

Those are pretty much all there is to traditional NFL Football betting but there are some more complex wagers as well including parlays, future bets and proposition wagers.
