The 2024 NFL regular season is coming to an end, and we are on the eve of what will be the last week.
While it is true that most teams already know what the future holds for them, be it playing in the postseason or starting to prepare for the next campaign. Others will be fighting tooth and nail to get the victory that will keep them alive in the fight for the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Week 17 was action-packed from start to finish, with all the teams going all out for the win.
The Chiefs came back to win, as did the Ravens, Eagles, and Bills. The Bengals fought back to take the win over the Broncos to keep their hopes of advancing to the postseason alive.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ dominant victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers extended their successful Super Bowl title defense, solidifying their hopes of winning three Vince Lombardi’sin a row.
Travis Kelce’s outstanding performance further cements his legacy as one of the best tight ends in NFL history, with Patrick Mahomes also shining.
Securing the top seed in the AFC and a bye week in the playoffs, the Chiefs will have home-field advantage until a potential Super Bowl LIX showdown at the Superdome.
In the game, Mahomes threw three touchdowns to Kelce, who had eight receptions for 84 yards and one touchdown. The Steelers struggled offensively, allowing five catches and committing two turnovers.
The Chiefs took an early 13-0 lead, while the Steelers finally scored later in the game on a Harris run. Both teams managed just one field goal each in the third quarter, entering the final quarter 16-10.
The Chiefs sealed the game with a 77-yard series that ended in a Kareem Hunt touchdown and a Mahomes-Kelce connection for a 12-yard touchdown, resulting in the final score of 29-10.

The Baltimore Ravens (11-5) stormed into first place in the AFC North division with a dominant 31-2 victory over the Houston Texans (9-7) at NRG Stadium during a special Christmas game.
Lamar Jackson surpassed Michael Vick’s record for most ground yards by a quarterback, reaching 6,110 yards in the third quarter. Derrick Henry scored the first touchdown of the game, and the Ravens extended their lead with a 52-yard Justin Tucker field goal.
Despite a Texans safety in the second quarter, the Ravens maintained their lead with a touchdown pass to Isaiah Likely. The momentum of the game shifted decisively in the third quarter with a 48-yard Lamar Jackson ground touchdown and a one-yard touchdown pass to Mark Andrews.
The Ravens can clinch their division by defeating the Cleveland Browns or if Pittsburgh loses to the Cincinnati Bengals on January 5. The Houston Texans, already AFC South champions, will conclude their regular season against the Tennessee Titans on the same day.

In a hard-fought thriller at Paycor Stadium in “The Jungle,” the Cincinnati Bengals emerged victorious over the Denver Broncos by a score of 30-24 in Week 17.
The game, which had playoff implications for both teams, was tied at 24 points at the end of regulation time after a miraculous play by the Broncos, sending them into overtime.
The Bengals missed a potential game-winning field goal, but Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins connected for a 31-yard pass, setting up a 3-yard touchdown pass to decide the game in Cincinnati’s favor.
This win keeps the Bengals’ slim playoff hopes alive. On the other hand, the Broncos, who would have clinched an AFC wild-card berth with a win, now have another chance to earn a postseason berth when they face Kansas City in their next game.

The Washington Commanders secured their first playoff berth since 2020 by defeating the Atlanta Falcons in a 30-24 overtime victory at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland.
The win put the Falcons in a tough position to make the playoffs, as they must now beat the Carolina Panthers at home in the final week and depend on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers losing against the Saints. In addition, the Rams clinched a playoff berth as NFC West champions, eliminating the Seahawks.
In the game, the Falcons initially took the lead with an Olamide Zaccheaus touchdown, but the Commanders responded with a Bijan Robinson touchdown.
The Falcons then scored again in the second quarter to lead at halftime. However, the Commanders staged a comeback in the second half, tying the game and eventually taking the lead with touchdowns by Jayden Daniels and Chris Rodriguez Jr.
The Falcons forced overtime with a late touchdown, but Washington secured the victory with a 2-yard pass from Daniels to Zach Ertz on the first series of overtime.
