Week 13 of the NFL is history. We are closer to the end of the regular season and the Wild Card.
In the week’s games that just concluded, we had several surprises that, without a doubt, left many very uneasy because of how they happened. We are talking about the defeats of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
These two teams are the favorites to repeat this year’s Super Bowl, so they always start as favorites to win their respective games. However, in Week 13, they both skated, so we can say that no team is unbeatable in this NFL season.
Now, let’s summarize the best games of Week 13 of the 2023/24 NFL season.
NFL Week 13 – Dallas Cowboys vs. Seattle Seahawks – Roundup
When:

Moneyline odds:
Cowboys -400
Seahawks +300
Where can I watch it?
The Week 13 Thursday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks was interesting and exciting. After an action-packed four quarters, the locals prevailed 41-35 to win their ninth game.
The Cowboys started the game on the right foot by winning the first quarter 10-7. However, Seattle woke up, and at the start of the second quarter, they could even the score and then go ahead and take the game into halftime with a score of 21-20 in their favor.
After the break, we enjoyed a very balanced game, where both teams displayed a solid offense that allowed their rivals to score only 7 points to start the last quarter with a score of 28-27.
Finally, Dak Prescott was the hero in the last quarter to lead the Cowboys to a 41-35 victory and thus get closer to sealing their ticket to the postseason.
Result: Cowboys (41) – (35) Seahawks
NFL Week 13 – New Orleans Saints vs. Detroit Lions – Roundup
When:
Sunday, December 3 at 1:00 pm ET in Caesars Superdome
Moneyline odds:
Saints +155
Lions -180
Where can I watch it?
Another very intense game we had in week 13 was between the Saints and the Lions, something that nobody expected. We say this because the Saints have not played well this season, while the Lions have been pleasantly surprised with an exceptional level.
However, even though the Saints came very close to making their home stand and taking the win, Detroit stepped up to seal the 33-28 victory.
The Lions did all the damage, especially in the first quarter, as they could score as many as 21 points to give them a big cushion for the rest of the game. Detroit won the game in the first quarter, as they lost the other three by scores of 3-7, 3-14, and 6-7. However, their big lead was enough to add their ninth victory.
Jared Goff did not have much activity for the Lions in this game, even though he had 16-25 pass completions for 213 yards and two touchdowns.
Result: Saints (28) – (33) Lions
NFL Week 13 – Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Francisco 49ers – Roundup
When:
Sunday, December 3 at 4:25 pm ET in Lincoln Financial Field
Moneyline odds:
Eagles +125
49ers -145
Where can I watch it?
The most exciting game of this week 13 was undoubtedly between the Eagles and the 49ers, as both teams should be protagonists in the NFL postseason. The locals could not make their home field respected in this game and lost 19-42.
The game started well for the home team, as they took an early 6-0 lead after the first quarter. However, that was all the Eagles could do for the entire game, as San Francisco piled up 14 points in each of the next three quarters to annihilate Philadelphia’s chances of getting their 11th win of the season.
On the other hand, the 49ers moved to 9-3 and are headed straight to the NFL postseason.
Jalen Hurts had a night to forget, as he was close to 50% pass completions, while the 49ers’ Brock Prudy was the opposite, throwing for 314 yards and four touchdowns.
Result: Eagles (19) – (42) 49ers
NFL Week 13 – Green Bay Packers vs. Kansas City Chiefs – Roundup
When:
Sunday, December 3 at 8:20 pm ET in Lambeau Field
Moneyline odds:
Packers +250
Chiefs -320
Where can I watch it?
The Green Bay Packers did the heroic deed by beating the Kansas City Chiefs at home against all odds by a score of 27-19.
Undoubtedly, everything pointed to Kansas City winning their ninth game. However, nobody was counting on Jordan Love having such a good game and that Patrick Mahomes could not be decisive.
The Packers were ahead of the Chiefs all game, scoring points every quarter and holding them to 3 in a couple. In reality, the Packers won this game because of their defense, as they prevented most of Kansas City’s drives by forcing them to look for field goals in the first two quarters.
Now, the Packers are even with the Vikings at 6-6 in the NFC North, while the Chiefs put their record at 8-4.
Result: Packers (27) – (19) Chiefs
