Why bet on the Lions?

The Lions have had such an amazingseason, that even though their current rivals are tied with them with a record just as good at 14 and 2, they are still the #1 seed. They are looking to lock it in this last match with a huge celebration and a bit of extra time to rest.

Detroit will be ready to back their team up on the field, as this clash taking place on their turf is the best part for them. They have not only faced this tough opponent earlier in the season, but they got a close victory as visitors and look to repeat the dose.

Their last game was an excellent victory against the 49ers, taking some revenge from the team that eliminated them last season in the Conference Championship match. Jared Goff was the star, with three TD passes and no interceptions.

Why bet on the Vikings?

The Vikings had an amazing season, and they are looking to go all in for their last game before the playoffs. A win here means a lot. First, they’d take over the first-round bye and skip having to go through the whole run of the playoffs.

Besides that, they would be able to get some payback over the Lions, who they faced before and lost to, with a pretty close result on the board, and nothing would be better for them than to close out this season with that victory to wrap things up.

They will have to come into Detroit and spoil their fun at home, which is a pretty tall order, but they are going to put it all on the line once the ball is on the field.

Their last game was a great victory over the Packers. It was a close call, as they had to survive a comeback attempt by Green Bay that featured an uncontested run of 14 points in the last quarter. Sam Darnold keeps being one of the season’s revelations and got three TD passes from 33 successful attempts and almost 400 aerial yards.

Final Betting Analysis: Lions vs. Vikings

The NFC No. 1 seed is up for grabs, and a first-round bye awaits the winner. The loser—while still in the postseason—must be a visitor in the Wild Card round, so this is going to be a heated clash.

The earlier matchup in the season for these two ended with the Lions emerging victorious by 31-29. Another close battle here would make this matchup an instant classic, but with so much on the line, both teams will throw everything they have at their opponent.

This one will be a back-and-forth affair, but the Lions will win it, taking advantage of their locality. Go for the OVER.

Go for a win for the locals at 1.63. If you bet $100 at such odds, you could get $63 for a total payout of $163.
