This is it, we are at the final week of the NFL regular season, and we will enjoy an exciting end with some postseason spots at stake.
There is one playoff spot available in each of the AFC and the NFC, and our hosts for this clash are the ones looking to lock up one. The NFC South leaders, the Buccaneers, need a win here to secure the spot after their run of nine wins and seven losses.
The Saints are looking to make this last week tough for the Buccaneers, only to end off their season on a high note. The team’s hopes for the postseason ended a while back, as they have amassed considerable losing streaks this season between each win.

Why bet on the Buccaneers?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a force on the field, and most of the teams on the board had to watch out on each of the matches they were involved. However, they have not clinched the division, thus the importance of this game.
While they face a team that has not been much of a threat this weekend, it wouldn’t be the first time Tampa Bay has collapsed to pressure in recent times, so they should seal the deal quickly.
The Buccaneers really need to capitalize on that in this game in order to make sure they will make their way to the playoffs. The Floridians have sustained their season in the prowess of Baker Mayfield, who has been one of the revelations of the campaign and, last week against the Panthers, got a remarkable 5 TD passes from 27 successful attempts and 359 aerial yards.
We must also highlight receiver Mike Evans, who was just three yards shy of the 100 receiving yards and achieved eight receptions for two TDs.
Why bet on the Saints?
The Saints will have it tough to end the season on a positive note, and with their record of two wins and five losses on the road, this doesn’t seem like the ideal end of the campaign.
The team has been on a rocky season, and their views are only towards the Draft, as it’s clear that the team has some serious flaws that require new talent to cover up. That is especially true in attack, as they close the top ten of worst offenses in the 24/25 edition of the NFL.
We expect them to play well at the beginning of the clash, up until they realize that the battle will be lost early in, and then they will just continue in order to wrap up the season.
The last game was a disappointing 10-25 loss as locals against another of the worst teams this season, the LV Raiders. QB Spencer Rattler only got one TD pass and conceded two interceptions.
Final Betting Analysis: Buccaneers vs. Saints
In NFL history, the Saints lead the series with a 40-26 record in their favor. However, recent times have seen a resurgence of Tampa Bay, who won four of the last five games, including their last one on October 13 of this year by 51-27.
In order to keep the Bucs out of the playoffs, it is the New Orleans Saints’ duty to put them at bay by winning this weekend. Of course, that alone won’t keep Baker Mayfield and company out.
The Atlanta Falcons will need to win as well, so it only makes sense that the Bucs would throw everything they have at this game in order to keep their fate in their own hands.
The Buccaneers are somewhat inconsistent in terms of covering games, but they have reliably defeated lesser opponents. Tampa Bay absolutely needs to win to get into the playoffs, so we expect the Bucs to be intensely focused. We’ll go for a win for the locals at the OVER.
Go for a victory for the Buccs at 1.11. If you bet $100 at such odds, you could get $11 for a total payout of $110.
