We are walking into the 16th week of the NFL Season, and with only two rounds left, the playoff picture is looking clearer, as seven spots have been clinched so far, and the same number remains.
Now we get a look at the TNF match between AFC North rivals Bengals and Browns, with Cincinnati trying to remain alive with slim playoff hopes.
The Bengals come from a good win against the Titans, where their great offense helped them get a good result despite their poor defensive performance.
The Browns lost again last week, this time, against the Conference leaders, the Kansas City Chiefs.

Why bet on the Bengals?
According to the NFL, the Bengals retain a 5% chance of reaching the Playoffs. For that, they need to win their remaining games and hope that the Chargers lose by big margins in the meantime. It’s unnecessary to say that we are not on Cincinnati’s ship for this quest, but it’s remarkable that a team with so many excellent players is in this situation.
We erased the Bengals’ postseason chances after getting swept by the Ravens in their division series. Both games featured excellent performances by Joe Burrow, which served for nothing.
Last time, the QB had a contrasting game against the Titans. He got an excellent 271 aerial yards and three TD passes, but he got intercepted twice. Chase Brown also stood out, with 25 carries for almost 100 yards and one TD.
However, we must point out that the Bengals allowed four TDs from one of the worst attacks in the NFL.
Why bet on the Browns?
Having dropped four straight, the Cleveland Browns know that their season ends when the 17th week wraps up. Still, they have a couple of matches to try new things looking towards what should be a deep offseason reconstruction.
Their last defeat was uneventful against the Chiefs, to say the least. They scored seven points thanks to a TD in the third quarter, and Jameis Winston was intercepted thrice. Nothing more, nothing less.
They already lost with this rival in Cleveland, so now they travel some miles inside Ohio to close the 2024 series against this divisional rival in Cincinnati.
The odds seem close, probably due to the Browns’ woes this season against top-division rivals. Two of their three wins came against the Steelers and Ravens, so this could be an interesting game for bettors. However, the Bengals don’tquite fall into that category.
Browns running back Nick Chubb (knee) is expected to make his season debut, which could be the spark Cleveland’s offense has been missing. The Browns will likely lean on their defense to keep them in Sunday’s game.
Final Betting Analysis: Bengals vs. Browns
The Cincinnati Bengals don’t have the benefit of facing a Deshaun Watson-led offense, so the Cleveland Browns should produce plenty of points on their defense.
However, Jameis Winston is also going to present Cincinnati with multiple chances at interceptions. Shorter fields and extra possessions for Joe Burrow will propel the Bengals, who we are expecting to takethe win here. Go for a victory for the locals at the OVER.
Go for a win for Cincinnati at 1.95. If you bet $100 at such odds, you could get $195 for a total payout of $195.
