The Pennsylvania Derby is a horse race that is made up of 3-year-old thoroughbred horses. It is held at the Parx Racing and Casino, which was previously called the Keystone Race Track and, later (until 2010), Philadelphia Park. In the main race of this tournament, it runs a distance of 1,125 miles (1,811 km. Approximately). It also has a pot of $1,000,000 to distribute.

The 3-year-old thoroughbred horse trained by one of the best trainers in the world, Bob Baffert, Medina Spirit is coming off an excellent victory in the Shared Belief S. ($ 100K). From the start of the race, he has been leading the pace. This will be the ideal setting for Medina Spirit to prepare for the next Breeders’ Cup Classic.

Other horses to look for
We will also have two horses that have good etiquette but have not been able to show their full potential; this is mainly because they have very tough opponents like Medina Spirit, Hot Rod Charlie, and Rock Your World. They are Weburn, who is trained by Jimmy Jerkens and was the winner of Gotham (G3), and First Captain, trained by C. McGaughey III, who has just lost his undefeated at the Curlin S.
