The Cheltenham Gold Cup Each is a Grade 1 European horse race made each year at the New Course. This is a beautiful grass racecourse in Cheltenham, England. This track has a distance of 3 miles and 2 ½ furlongs and, throughout its length, there are 22 fences to jump. This race is very popular and takes place every March at the Cheltenham Festival.
This is a steeplechase and is open to horses 5 years and older and is the most prestigious race of all the National Hunt events. Among the most prestigious horses that have achieved victory in this race, we have Arkle, Best Mate, Golden Miller, Kauto Star, Denman, and Mill House.
This Gold Cup is Great Britain’s most valuable race and is handicap free. This year the prize pool is set to increase considerably from last season and is going to reach £625,000; second only to the Randox Grand National.
The event will take place this Friday, March 18, 2022.
Next, we will have the betting odds for each of the horses that will participate in this Cheltenham Gold Cup Each.
- Al Boum Photo
He won this race in 2019 and 2020; last year he managed to get third place despite small mistakes.
- A Plus Tard
An excellent race finishing very close to Minella Indo in 2021; brilliant comeback.
- Asterion Forlonge
Failed to complete 4 of last 9 submissions.
One of the favorites for this race. It presents a robust texture; keeps getting better with every run; the indomitable effort took him past A Plus Tard in the final race.
- Minella Indo
Current winner of this race. Last year he was seen with great solvency in the races that he ran, without a doubt, another of the favorite horses in the bets.
- Tornado Flyer
He had an excellent finish to win the 3m King George at Kempton. For this race, it is much more complicated but it has a lot of potential to finish among the first places.
