The last round of the Premier League will start in a few days and fans of the best football league in the world are ecstatic with the quality of football demonstrated by the players and the history that was written this season.
The battle between Manchester City and Arsenal finally ended: Guardiola’s team became champions with two games to spare, in a scenario that seemed impossible to change in the middle of the season, due to Arteta’s team consistency.
Newcastle secured a direct spot in the Champions League for the following season, while Liverpool remains with some fourth spot hopes, and Brighton is looking to end the tournament in style after assuring Europa League football. Chelsea was the big disappointment of the season. Even with the big investment made in signings, the London team will be below the 10th position.
Southampton is the only team that no longer has a chance of remaining in the Premier League. Leeds, Leicester, and Everton will play the last game trying to evade the other two relegation places.
