The MLS season is going to the very last stretch, and we now have the top 4 teams in each of the conferences, fighting to crown themselves before the final match to decide the national champion.

Philadelphia Union (Eastern Conference) and LAFC (Western Conference) enjoyed their respective rests to get back in action during the Conference Semifinals on Oct. 20 as the respective No. 1 seeds, but their opposing teams are ready for the task of facing the teams that dominated the regular season with ease.

2022 MLS – MLS Conference Finals Preview

When: Thursday, October 20th and Sunday, November 23rd

Where Can I Watch it? ESPN, FOX Sports, TUDN, ABC.

MLS Conference Finals – Eastern Conference – Philadelphia Union vs. New York City

Philadelphia Union took down Cincinnati to earn its place, and New York City took down the Canadian team of Montreal to get into the fight for the Eastern Championship.

Philadelphia has been the dominant team in the MLS this season and should be confident of a positive outcome, having won their last two regular-season meetings.

They will hope to ride that momentum to make their first final.

New York, meanwhile, beat Philadelphia in the playoffs last season and will look to replicate that performance.

They have won their last five games and should continue in that vein.

Nonetheless, Philadelphia has been solid at home and should edge out a win.

MLS Conference Finals – Western Conference Final – LAFC vs. Austin FC

“El Trafico Derby” Finished with LAFC taking down LA Galaxy, and the Texas derby ended with Austin FC on top over Dallas FC.

Los Angeles FC emerged victorious in El Trafico against Galaxy despite missing Gareth Bale due to injury, while Carlos Vela was subbed off with a muscle cramp.

LA has been in splendid form at home and is expected to produce a strong performance.

Austin, meanwhile, is winless in its last four away games and might struggle.

They have put in decent displays in their two playoff games, but the hosts should edge out a narrow win.

Our pick is on LAFC.
