The Matchday 7 of the Torneo Apertura of Liga MX was played and there is a new leader since Toluca went on to command the table.

The Red Devils took advantage of the defeat of Tigres and, thanks to their 3-1 victory against Tijuana, they stayed at the top of the tournament with 17 points. Carlos González, Jean Meneses and Camilo Sanvezzo scored for the winners, while Edgar López scored for the Xolos, who are eighth.
