LaLiga Matchday 37 Betting Favorites

The organizers of the Spanish league could not have imagined that, with just a few days left before the end of the season, LaLiga would be involved in a major controversy related to racism – cases have happened repeatedly with the Brazilian player, Vinícius Júnior.

After the Barcelona title, this theme has taken over the headlines in Spanish newspapers. With two rounds left before the end of the championship, the clubs that qualify for the UEFA Champions League are almost defined: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, and Real Sociedad. Of these four teams, only Real Sociedad can be left out: if they lose both games and Villarreal win their remaining matches.

At the bottom of the table, Elche is already relegated. Espanyol, Valladolid, Cádiz, Getafe, Almería, Celta, and Valencia are still trying to escape the other two positions that give access to the second division of Spanish football.

Teams like Sevilla, Valencia, and Athletic Club were the big disappointments of Spanish football this season. Accustomed to fighting for the first places, the Nervionenses lived a year of great irregularity and will certainly try to forget this LaLiga season.

LaLiga Matchday 37 – Sevilla vs. Real Madrid – Betting Favorites

Saturday, May 27th – 01:00 pm ET at the Sánchez-Pizjuán

Moneyline odds:

Sevilla +199

Real Madrid +131

Draw offs:

Where Can I Watch?

Despite forming one of the biggest rivalries in Spanish football, Sevilla and Real Madrid are far from seeing this match as the most important of the season. The White House, after losing the title and being eliminated from the Champions League, has no further objectives for now.

Sevilla, however, are still chasing another UEFA Europa League title. In the final against Roma, they seek to be the king of Europe again but know that it needs to be well-prepared to face a team of this caliber.

The match against Real Madrid could serve as a test for coach Jose Luis Mendilibar to experiment a little with the final in mind, but without wearing down his players.

Due to the context in which the match is inserted, the visitors must win the game, to end the season with the highest possible number of points.

If you put $100 into Real Madrid’s win, you could get $131 back for a total payout of $231.

LaLiga Matchday 37 – Athletic vs. Elche – Betting Favorites

Sunday, May 28th – 01:00 PM ET at San Mamés

Moneyline odds:

Athletic Bilbao -294

Elche +780

Draw offs:

Where Can I Watch?

Already relegated, Elche should not offer much resistance to Athletic Bilbao in this Sunday’s game. Coach Ernesto Valverde knows that he can still gain some positions in these final rounds of LaLiga and, therefore, he should take his best team to the field to beat their fragile rivals.

The speedy Iñaki Williams is Bilbao’s top scorer this season, with 10, followed by Oihan Sancet (9), Gorka Guruzeta (6), and Nico Williams (6). The versatile Óscar de Marcos is the player who has given the most assists to his teammates: in all, there has been 6 goal passes this season.

The Bilbaínos beat Celta the last time they played at home and should have no difficulties in beating Elche in front of their fans. We believe in their victory.

If you put $100 into Bilbao’s win, you could get $34 back for a total payout of $134.

LaLiga Matchday 37 – Barcelona vs. Mallorca – Betting Favorites

Sunday, May 28th – 01:00 pm ET at Camp Nou

Moneyline odds:

Barcelona -300

Mallorca +760

Draw offs:

Where Can I Watch?

After winning the Spanish title, Barcelona doesn’t want to know anything this season, with all the ups and downs. After dramatic eliminations in the cup competitions, they just want to pass the page and prepare their project for the next championship, amid controversy.

Mallorca has been stuck in 11th place for a few weeks now and has struggled to take on the big teams away from home. However, we don’t know which team Xabi will put on the field this weekend, so the door for a surprise could be wide open.

We think a draw is the most probable outcome.

If you put $100 into a draw, you could get $450 back for a total payout of $550.
