The LMB playoffs have reached their highest point as we have only 3 matches left in the season.

The first two are our focus point right now, as each of the zones is on the last match to decide their champions, who will face later on to see who is the King of the 2022 Season.

In the North Zone:

Sultanes de Monterrey vs. Toros de Tijuana

In the South Zone:

Leones de Yucatán vs. Diablos Rojos del México

When: Start Monday, August 29th, up to Tuesday, September 6th.

South Zone

When: Start Tuesday, August 30th, up to Wednesday, September 7th.

North Zone Championship Series:

Sultanes de Monterrey vs. Toros de Tijuana

The two top dogs of the North are facing once again in the Final series, but we have to point out that it seems like it’d be a repeat of what happened in 2016 and 2017.

Tijuana comes in after crushing the Rieleros de Aguascalientes and then wrapping things up in 6 games against the Acereros de Monclova.

Sultanes de Monterrey faced the Acereros de Monclova and the Tecolotes de Dos Laredos and managed to finish both series in the 5th game.

Monterrey managed to score a victory over two strong opponents but we believe that they are not quite ready for what Tijuana brings to the table for this series.

South Zone Championship Series:

Leones de Yucatan vs. Diablos Rojos de Mexico

This is quite an interesting match-up, as these two teams will face for the 3rd time in the Play-offs this season, and that may give us an idea of who should have an edge.

It is interesting to see that Leones de Yucatan was the victor in both of those previous series; so the question here is if Diablos Rojos can pick up on the mistakes from the previous encounters.

We believe that Leones are going to manage another victory over the Diablos, and make their way to the King’s Series.
