LMB July 05th – Betting Lines and Picks

Another round is about to start for the Mexican League of Baseball (LMB) this Tuesday, with great games until Thursday. As we all know, the LMB series lasts three days, but this one will be an exception: Monterrey will play Dos Laredos at the Uni-Trade Stadium tonight (Monday, 4th of July).

That will be a great game to start because they are not too far from each other when we look at the standings. Dos Laredos is the top team on the north side of the league, while Monterrey is only two positions behind. 

We had a few games canceled last round due to the covid-19, as lots of players tested positive for the virus. Dos Laredos vs. Puebla could not play a single game of three possibilities in the series, but Aguascalientes played one game against Monclova, who won by 14-5 at Monclova Stadium. 

In the south part of the league, Puebla, Mexico, and Tabasco are the top 3 teams; Leon is still at the bottom, after losing the three games of their series with Monterrey.

Let’s take a look at the games and see who we think is gonna win these series.

LMB July 4rth: Monterrey vs. Dos Laredos

After a few days without playing due to the covid-19, Dos Laredos certainly will face some difficulties when playing against the strong team of Monterrey, who is now in the 3rd position in the standings. 

Our best pick is a win for Monterrey.

LMB July 5th: Oaxaca vs. Puebla

Puebla hasn’t played the last series due to the covid-19, but this is not enough to avoid them to beat Oaxaca in these games. Will be a 33 wins team against a 22 wins team. Easy pick.

Puebla is to win the series.

LMB July 5th: Mexico vs. Monclova

Mexico is coming from a win in the series against Tigres (2-1) and now is at the second position on the south side, only two wins behind Puebla. Monclova is at 4th position in the north group, making this match interesting. 

We’ll see even matches from these guys, but we pick Mexico as the winners.
