The LMB calendar is reaching the best point, as today, July 18th, we are only 6 weeks away from the start of the playoffs, so the teams are going to play at their best and take all the chances possible to reach them.
In the last few weeks, there has been a shift in the top of the scoreboards. Also, the top 3 teams are now a far leap ahead of the others, making sure to secure their playoffs spots.
We have the defending champions, Toros de Tijuana as the current leaders with 48 wins and 23 losses so far.
They are pleading their case and making a statement as to why they were champions last season.
The Tecolotes de Dos Laredos, who was previously at the helm, currently sit in second at 45 wins and 23 losses.
Close behind, we get the Sultanes de Monterrey, who are trying to close the gap to the leaders, with 44 wins and 28 losses record.
Now, this Tuesday marks the start of some interesting series that could make a difference in the scoreboard when we hit the weekend.

July 19-21 LMB Series: Toros de Tijuana vs. Mariachis de Guadalajara
Tijuana came from second to take over and now they have a strong lead against all other teams.
A strong team both at home and on the road, they know all they have to do is continue with their relentless pressure and pace.
Their opponents, the Mariachis, are struggling, coming in with 30 wins and 42 losses.
They may have a tough week this time, as they are having terrible chances on the road, and Tijuana is just a mean machine with their home crowd on their shoulders.
