The Formula 1 continues its schedule and we go to France as the 12th event of the season takes place this Sunday, July 24th at the F1 Lenovo French Grand Prix.
The French Grand Prix, formerly known as the Grand Prix de l’ACF is held as part of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile’s annual Formula One World Championship.
It is one of the oldest motor races in the world as well as the first “Grand Prix”.
The Grand Prix de l’ACF was tremendously influential in the early years of Grand Prix racing, leading the establishment of the rules and regulations of racing as well as setting trends in the evolution of racing.
The power of the original organizer, the Automobile Club de France, established France as the main home of motor racing organizations.

F1 French GP Race Preview and Betting Picks
F1 returns to action in Le Castellet on July 23-25 for the French GP.
While not the most popular venue among fans since it rejoined the calendar in 2018, it did provide a thrilling showdown between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton last year and could be the scene of another exciting race this time.
High temperatures expected in France this weekend would put more strain on components, increasing the possibility of mechanical failures.
This may well end up deciding the winner of the race come Sunday, with Ferrari, in particular, having been hit by a series of reliability issues in recent races.
Charles Leclerc claimed victory from outside of pole position for the first time in his Formula 1 career two weekends ago as he managed throttle-pedal issues to fend off Max Verstappen in a dramatic Austrian Grand Prix.
It was the championship leader, Verstappen, who got away well from the pole but there was drama on the other side of the Red Bull garage as Sergio Perez was sent into the gravel following contact from George Russell.
Disaster would soon strike for Carlos Sainz though as his engine began spewing flames as he was hunting down Verstappen for P2.
The Verstappen vs. Leclerc title fight will rage on when the drivers travel to Le Castellet with Ferrari expected to be quick once again this weekend.
There will also be a new face in the W13 this weekend as Nyck De Vries steps into the Mercedes in place of Lewis Hamilton for FP1.
The Dutchman is the reigning Formula E world champion and will take part in his first Mercedes practice session on Friday afternoon.
