Why bet on the Kansas City Chiefs?
The reigning two-time NFL champion isn’t playing its best but is getting the results, as evidenced by their 11-1 record that places them atop their conference.
However, Andy Reid’s squad is not showcasing the dominance of recent years. They narrowly defeated the struggling Las Vegas Raiders 19-17 thanks to a field goal by Matthew Wright, and the week prior, they edged out the Carolina Panthers 30-27 with a last-second kick by Spencer Shrader.
Both opponents are at the bottom of the standings and still managed to challenge the Chiefs, who have only won by more than seven points against the New Orleans Saints and the San Francisco 49ers. Against the Raiders, Wright scored 13 points, with the team’s only touchdown coming from Justin Watson.
In that game, Patrick Mahomes completed 26 of 46 passes for 306 yards and one TD. However, it hasn’t been a standout season for the quarterback, who has 19 touchdowns and 2,979 yards but has been intercepted 11 times. The team will wait until the last minute to determine if D.J. Humphries will be available to protect Mahomes as he is recovering from an injury.
Why bet on the Los Angeles Chargers?
The Los Angeles Chargers are in the postseason zone and are eager to prove they can contend for a title, and what better way to do it than by defeating the defending champion? With their 8-4 record, they sit second in the AFC West, right behind the Chiefs, and are fifth in the conference, holding onto one of the seven playoff spots.
Following their loss to the Baltimore Ravens, Jim Harbaugh’s team bounced back with a 13-17 road win over the Atlanta Falcons in a lackluster game that they only won because Kirk Cousins was highly erratic, having four interceptions.
It was a night to forget for quarterback Justin Herbert, who, despite all the opportunities afforded by the opposing defense, managed to complete only 16 of 23 passes for 147 yards. He also had five rushing attempts, gaining just one yard. The team’s lone touchdown came from a Tarheeb Still interception.

The odds at Gambyl Exchange favor the Kansas City Chiefs, with a Moneyline of 1.50, while the Los Angeles Chargers stand at 2.70.
A very interesting matchup in the AFC, with both teams looking for a win that could serve as a morale boost for the rest of the season. The Chiefs are struggling to secure victories, but they’re getting the job done, while Herbert’s last performance was very poor. This leads us to believe that Kansas City will come out on top. Go for the UNDER.
Go for a win for the Chiefs. If you bet $100 at 1.50, you will gain $50 for a total payout of $150.
