The Premier League has a new champion in Matchday 34. Liverpool crushed Tottenham 5-1 and ended Manchester City’s streak of four consecutive titles, claiming their 20th Premier League trophy and tying Manchester United at the top of the all-time list.
Arsenal couldn’t do anything more, drawing 2-2 with Crystal Palace and essentially handing the title to the ‘Reds’ on a silver platter.
With the title race settled, the battle shifts to the European competition spots. The most dramatic change came from Nottingham Forest, who dropped from third to sixth place, although they still have a game in hand.
Another important win this weekend came from Manchester City, who beat Aston Villa 2-1 to hold their valuable Champions League spot.

Arsenal is focused on the Champions League semifinals, and this was evident this weekend when Mikel Arteta fielded a mixed team against Crystal Palace, who just a few days later reached the FA Cup final.
The ‘Gunners’ took the lead early with a header from Jakub Kiwior in the third minute and had a couple of opportunities to extend the lead but couldn’t capitalize. However, Eberechi Eze scored a stunning goal from a corner kick, hitting it first touch, striking the post, and then going in.

In the final moments of the game, in the 83rd minute, William Saliba made a mistake, gifting the ball away to Jean-Philippe Mateta, who, seeing goalkeeper David Raya out to the side waiting for a pass, calmly finished into the empty net for a 2-2 draw.
The ‘Gunners’ are second with 67 points, and they need to be cautious as there’s only a seven-point gap between them and sixth place. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace is in 12th with 45 points.

Newcastle had no trouble defeating Ipswich 3-0, temporarily climbing to third place in the table and, in the process, sending their rivals down to the second division.
Ben Johnson was sent off with a second yellow card in the 37th minute, and that’s when the tragedy began for the ‘Tractor Boys,’ sealing their relegation to the Championship. Just before halftime, Alexander Isak put Newcastle ahead with a penalty.
In the second half, the giant Dan Burn extended the lead with a header, and in the 80th minute, it was William Osula’s turn to score, also with a header, from another cross by Kieran Trippier, to make it 3-0 for the Magpies.

After a bittersweet season where not all the expected results came through, they managed to secure the Liga Premiada title at home, crushing Tottenham 5-1.
However, the game didn’t start as they had hoped, as Dominic Solanke gave the ‘Spurs’ the lead with a header in the 12th minute. But after that, it was all Liverpool under manager Arne Slot.
First, it was Luis Díaz in the 16th minute, tapping in a pass from Dominik Szoboszlai. Then Alexis Mac Allister scored with a brilliant long-range shot in the 24th minute. The South Americans turned the game around.
The celebration continued in the first half at Anfield, as Cody Gakpo scored a clinical cross-shot to make it 3-1 in the 34th minute, and the crowd began to celebrate.
In the second half, the team’s star, Mohamed Salah, made it 4-1 with a great left-footed shot on the counter-attack, reaching 28 goals for the season and climbing to the top of the scorer’s table with a six-goal lead over Isak and seven over Erling Haaland.
