‘Los Zorros’ have just lost 2-0 in its visit to Atlético San Luis, thus losing its sixth place in the general table.
The Regiomontantos thrashed Querétaro 5-0 at home to hold on to second place, two points behind Atlético San Luis.

In recent years, Atlas has been one of the strongest teams in LigaMX, becoming two-time champions. However, this has not been the case this semester, after the departure of key players such as strikers Julio Furch and Julián Quiñones.
