Arsenal held on to second place, hoping for a miracle to claim the Premier League title, and did what mattered most: win. They secured a 2-1 victory over Fulham in Bukayo Saka’s triumphant return.

The opening goal came in the 37th minute when Mikel Merino’s shot deflected off a defender, completely changing the ball’s trajectory as it was heading comfortably into Bernd Leno’s hands.

The second goal arrived in the 73rd minute, shortly after Bukayo Saka came on, making his return after more than three months. The Englishman found himself unmarked and headed in a ball after a cross from Merino, which Gabriel Martinelli had slightly redirected.

Fulham pulled one back in stoppage time (90+4’) when Rodrigo Muniz’s shot took a deflection off William Saliba, wrong-footing David Raya.

Arsenal remains second with 61 points, 12 behind the leaders, while Fulham sits in ninth place with 45 points.

Nottingham Forest continues to surprise as they fight for a spot in next season’s Champions League. They secured a 1-0 victory over Manchester United, holding onto third place with a comfortable advantage.

The only goal of the match came just five minutes in, courtesy of Anthony Elanga, after a stunning solo run. Following a corner kick for the ‘Red Devils,’ Forest’s defense cleared the ball with a header, and the 22-year-old Swede picked it up, sprinted the entire length of the pitch, and slotted a low shot between two defenders into the far corner.

Goalkeeper Matz Sels and the entire Nottingham defense deserve credit, as they managed to keep a clean sheet despite facing 23 shots from United.

Nuno Espírito Santo’s side now has 57 points, five ahead of Chelsea, while Rúben Amorim’s team sits in 13th place with 37 points.

The second goal came in the 29th minute after a mix-up between Mads Hermansen and Wout Faes. The goalkeeper failed to secure the ball, leaving it at the feet of Omar Marmoush, who calmly slotted it into an empty net.

It was a dominant display from City. They couldn’t add more goals but comfortably grabbed the win. They now sit in fifth place with 51 points, just one behind Chelsea. Meanwhile, Leicester moves closer to relegation, sitting second-to-last with 17 points, far from safety in 17th place.
