The Clausura MX season has completely wrapped up, or at least, the regular season has, and now it’s time for the teams to rally up and get prepared for the upcoming play-ins and the Liguilla.
With the regular season wrapped up, the top 10 teams are getting ready to continue with their work, and the rest of the board will pack their things and go back to take a rest.
It was quite fun to see how Toluca took the top spot in the board in the last weeks of the season, especially with the twists and turns that some of the teams had in general, so now, it is time to dive into what went down on the last matchday of the Clausura MX 2025 season to see what we should expect going forward.

Tigres and Pumas had a last dance on the field before the Liguilla process began, and it was easy to see what was expected to go down on the field. The local squad managed to get the victory to finish the regular season on a high note, securing their spot in the top 4.
Pumas may have lost the match, but even without racking up any points, they not only put up a fight here, but they ended up placed 10th on the board, which means that they are going to be trying to work their way into the Liguilla Play-offs to try and get back at Tigres on a later date.

Atlas was the team to do all the work in this match, literally, as they scored their own goal, which put Guadalajara in the lead in the 31st minute, only to get the equalizer in the 35th.
This allowed them to take a breather, but they didn’t capitalize, and neither did Guadalajara, who scored one point and couldn’t climb over Pumas to take the 10th spot, which means that not only did Atlas do all the scoring here, but they dragged Guadalajara with them, away from the post-season.

Who would have thought after such a long unbeaten streak that the Leon team would be ending up their season with five losses out of 17 matches?
Monterrey did what they had to do, securing a comfortable 7th spot, right behind the 6th placed Leon, which will have them fighting their way into the Liguilla, but the momentum will be there, as they are the only team with recent wins in the top 7 to 10.

The 15th-placed Atletico San Luis was not expected to be doing much in this last match, and it looked like Pachuca was going to get a victory with ease.
What went down on the field was a completely different story. San Luis managed to end their season on a good note before going back home to prepare for the future.
Pachuca ended up on the play-ins for the Liga MX post-season, but their momentum doesn’t look well at all now.
