The Premier League season continues to run with no stops and rest, as the top teams continue to push forward with excellent back-to-back performances.
The teams at the top shouldn’t feel too comfortable, as good runs of form have been coming and going regularly.
The current leaders are Arsenal, who are coming in with a four-matches win streak, followed by Liverpool and Aston Villa. Manchester City is also close enough, with all four holding the UEFA Champions League group stage spots.
Tottenham’s negative streak slowed them down so much that they are now in the 5th spot, and it doesn’t look like they’ll fix the situation soon.
Now we focus on the most exciting Premier League Matchday 16 games.

Liverpool are in second place in the Premier League standings and have been in excellent form this season. The Merseyside outfit eased past Sheffield United by a 2-0 margin this week and will be confident ahead of this fixture.
Crystal Palace, on the other hand, is in 14th place in the league table and has not been at their best so far. The Eagles slumped to a shock 2-0 defeat at the hands of Bournemouth in their previous game and will need to bounce back this weekend.
Liverpool have come into their own under Jurgen Klopp over the past month and will be intent on making the most of their purple patch. Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold have stepped up to the plate this season and will look to be at their best this weekend.
On the other hand, a struggling Crystal Palace will be up against a powerful opponent in a match-up that doesn’t favor them at all. Liverpool is the better team on paper and should be able to win this game without too many issues.

Erik ten Hag’s side shrugged off talk of a crisis by beating Chelsea. Their Premier League form has not been too bad, performance away at Newcastle aside. The Dutch even got the Manager of the Month award, although the reactions to this were mixed.
Bournemouth, meanwhile, has recovered from a difficult start to life under Andoni Iraola. They have lost only one of their last six games – against Manchester City, no less – and overcame Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
The DT was highly rated when he joined from Rayo Vallecano, but question marks were raised after Bournemouth’s start to the season. However, there are now glimpses of what he can do with some time.
You never know with Manchester United, but they should ideally win here, and we are expecting a 2-0 score in their favor.

Spurs endured the ignominy of taking the lead yet failing to win for the fifth game in a row – a Premier League first – while also becoming the first to do so in three straight home games.
Newcastle, fresh from a 3-0 defeat at Everton, have been more a typical kind of inconsistent while suffering from an injury crisis. Near-perfect at home this season, the Toon have only managed a single win on their travels in the league.
The Spurs have to get rid of the habit of scoring the first goal in a game but going on to lose it, particularly at home. Newcastle United have a far busier schedule than in past seasons, leading to the occasional poor performance. A growing injury list isn’t helping them a great deal, either.
We expect this match to be back and forth and end in a fought draw.
