Formula 1 saw an intense race in Australia, with rainy conditions and multiple Safety Cars. Now, the teams are preparing for the second race of the 2025 season with great expectations for The Chinese GP.
McLaren showed the racing world they have the fastest car on the grid, and both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri looked sharp in Melbourne.
Max Verstappen tried to keep up, but with the rain and the car not performing as well as the previous season, Red Bull needs to set things right.
On the other hand, Ferrari had a decent qualifying in Australia. However, the strategies backfired, and the general pace of both Leclerc and Hamilton was not enough to fight for the podium.

2025 Chinese GP Circuit Preview
The Shanghai International Circuit, built-in 2003 on swampland at the river Yangtze limit, will feature the first Sprint race of the season.
With 5,5 km (3.417 miles) completely resurfaced and two laps less than Australia, this GP has 297 km (184.547 miles) of racing distance and features 16 curves, nine to the right and seven to the left, with only three strong points for overtake the drivers need to manage the pace to look for an opportunity.
It has two DRS zones, one on the main straight ending before turn three and the second in the straight of sector three just before the last turn, where we will see a lot of overtakes due to being the longest straight of the calendar.
The FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) announced stricter rear-wing deflection tests for the Chinese GP. Changing the tolerance of the gap when pressure is applied from 0.5mm to 2mm. This change seems minuscule, but in a sport where every millisecond counts, the new test could affect the performance of several teams.
The Chinese Grand Prix is the first race on the calendar that features a sprint race, meaning the teams have only one free practice to make changes to the car and test it before entering the Parc Fermé (closed Park).
2025 Chinese GP Betting Pick
Lando Norris is leading the 2025 Fórmula 1 season, opening strong and with confidence.
Oscar Piastri showed clear intentions of competing for the Championship, but a spin near the end of the race dropped him from second to ninth.
Max Verstappen was, as always, an impeccable driver on the wet, showing his hunger for more. Now he returns to Shanghai, where last season he won the Sprint and the Grand Prix, looking to show that he doesn’t need the best car on the grid to win.
We can not leave behind Carlos Sainz, who, despite having DNF(did not finish) last race, seems comfortable in the Williams and has shown great performance on the free practices.
