Another weekend has come to an end, along with Matchday 10 of the Clausura MX 2025, which sees León remain unbeaten at the top while América continues to apply pressure.

All matches saw goals, with the highest-scoring game being Monterrey vs. Santos, where the Rayados secured a 4-2 victory, featuring a goal from Sergio Ramos, who found the net for the first time in this new adventure.

León kept their unbeaten streak alive with a 2-1 win over Tijuana, while América made a statement by thrashing Toluca 3-0.

CLausura MX Matchday 10: Juárez x Pachuca

Juárez and Pachuca kicked off March with a 2-2 draw that left neither team satisfied as both remain stuck at 17 points, sitting in seventh and eighth place, just one point away from direct qualification spots.

The match started in favor of the home team, who scored both goals in the first half using the same player and the same play. First, in the 6th minute, a corner kick from the left found Madson de Souza Silva unmarked at the penalty spot, with his first shot blocked by Carlos Moreno, but the Brazilian pounced on the rebound to make it 1-0.

Then, in the 45+3rd minute, another corner kick—this time from the right—landed at the same penalty spot, where Madson once again rose to head it in for a 2-0 lead.

The “Bravos” were in control, but in the blink of an eye, the game slipped away from them in less than five minutes. In the 60th minute, John Kennedy capitalized on a rebound after a shot from Sergio Hernández hit the post, cutting the deficit to 2-1. Shortly after, Salomón Rondón received a great assist from Carlos Sánchez and finished clinically to tie the game at 2-2.

Bryan González was sent off in the 70th minute for a last-man foul, but Juárez couldn’t capitalize on the numerical advantage, and the score remained unchanged.

CLausura MX Matchday 10: América x Toluca

América proved that they are the same dominant team from last year and remain hungry for more titles. This Sunday, they crushed Toluca 3-0 in a highly competitive match filled with scoring opportunities.

The scoring opened early, as Álvaro Fidalgo received a brilliant pass from Alejandro Zendejas in the 6th minute, going one-on-one with his compatriot Pau López and calmly finishing to the side for the 1-0 lead.

In the second half, a fantastic team play resulted in a role reversal, with Fidalgo this time setting up Zendejas, who netted the 2-0 in the 51st minute.

The game continued to be intense, with controversial moments and VAR interventions. Finally, in stoppage time (90+6), Diego Valdés delivered a perfect pass to Cristian Borja, and the Colombian fired a low shot across the goal to seal the 3-0 victory.

León continues to have a fantastic season, led by its star players, and this time, they struggled but managed to secure a 2-1 victory over Tijuana with a late goal.

It was an emotional match following a difficult Friday for Nicolás Fonseca, who was kidnapped for about two hours and robbed of some belongings. However, ‘La Fiera’ gave the Uruguayan a reason to smile, as he started and played the entire match on Saturday, receiving strong support from the fans.

Despite this, things didn’t start well for León, as Xolos took the lead with a powerful strike from Kevin Castañeda after a defensive mistake by the home team.

However, just before halftime, Adonis Frías made a great run and set up Ángel Estrada, who pulled off an impressive solo effort inside the box to equalize with a stunning goal.

León kept pushing and finally found the winner in the 89th minute when Sebastián Santos delivered a cross from the right, and Rodrigo Echeverría finished it with a header.
