In the last 3 years that the Apuestas del faraón americano has been contested, on 2 occasions the horses trained by Bob Baffert have managed to win the victory. These were in 2018 with the horse, Game Winner, and in 2019, Eight Rings. In the 2020 race, the horse Spielberg, entrenado por Baffert, was the undisputed favorite to take the victory. However, a great performance by Get Her Number cut off all chances of doing so.
