<p><strong>Rose Namajunas</strong> aka <strong>Thug Rose</strong> is a mixed martial arts fighter who was born on June 29 1992 She currently belongs to the <strong>UFC</strong> in the <strong>womens featherweight division </strong>and is the current owner of the <strong>champion belt</strong> <strong>Namajunas </strong>began her UFC career in 2013 when <strong>Gilbert Meléndez</strong> selected her to be part of his team In this season <strong>Rose</strong> managed to reach the finals by defeating several of the best fighters in the featherweight category However on December 12 2014 she lost the <strong>TUF</strong> final to <strong>Carla Esparza</strong> by submission in the third round This fight was for the inaugural 2014 strawweight championship</p>

<p>On<strong> </strong>April 24 2021 <strong>Namajunas </strong>faced <strong>Weili Zang </strong>in the main fight of the <strong>UFC 261 event Namajunas vs Weili</strong> In this fight <strong>Rose </strong>stood in the center of the octagon connecting different blows to <strong>Zhang</strong> until she saw a gap and took the opportunity to connect a kick directly to Zhangs head Zhang fell directly to the canvas in which Namajunas approached and managed to connect three more blows before the referee stopped the fight Only 1 minute and 18 seconds within the octagon was enough for <strong>Namajunas</strong> to finish <strong>Zhang</strong> by technical knockout</p>
