Nickolas Robert “Nick” Diaz is an American mixed martial arts fighter born on August 2, 1983. He competes in the middleweight category at the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Diaz is one of the most experienced fighters in the UFC, he has been a professional since 2001, that is, he has a 20-years career.

Nick Diaz has been the owner of the champion belt in the welterweight category at Strikeforce, WEC, and International Fighting Championships. Nick is the older brother of a fellow mixed martial arts fighter who also fights in the UFC, Nate Diaz. His professional record in this long 20-year career is 26 wins and 9 losses.

Nick Diaz’s last win in the UFC Octagons was at UFC 137 – Penn vs. Diaz on October 29, 2011. Then he faced B.J. Penn. This fight was very exciting from start to finish and, after 3 intense rounds, the judges ruled in favor of Nick Diaz. They awarded him the victory by unanimous decision.
