On Arsenal’s side, they saw Liverpool clinch the Premier League title this past weekend, and they now seem headed for what would be their third consecutive runner-up finish. However, they are hoping to make a statement in the Champions League.
They eliminated Real Madrid in the quarterfinals in an impressive series, winning 3-0 at home with two free-kick goals from Declan Rice and then winning 1-2 in Spain. Barcelona come into this match on a 12-game unbeaten streak, although half of those matches ended in draws, including their most recent one this week against Crystal Palace (2-2).
They are dealing with several key injuries, including Gabriel Magalhães, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Riccardo Calafiori, Jorginho, and Takehiro Tomiyasu. Additionally, Thomas Partey is suspended.
As for PSG, they have already been crowned Ligue 1 champions and are now aiming for international glory. Despite the departure of Kylian Mbappé, the Parisian side has found great replacements in Bradley Barcola and Désiré Doué, and the mid-season arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has given them a big boost.
Luis Enrique’s men are coming off a 1-3 loss to Nice this weekend, ending their unbeaten run in Ligue 1, where they had previously recorded 24 wins and six draws. Clearly, winning the title led them to take their foot off the gas, as they’ve managed just one point from their last two matches. The good news for PSG is that they have no players injured or suspended.

Barcelona is highly motivated. This weekend, in an incredible final, they defeated Real Madrid 3-2 in extra time to be crowned Copa del Rey champions. They now have two titles, are first in the league, and are in the semifinals of the Champions League, dreaming of a historic season.
They had some trouble with Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of the quarterfinals but managed to pull through. The problem for Hansi Flick is the injuries to Alejandro Balde and Robert Lewandowski, two key players. Ferrán Torres is playing very well and has just scored a very important goal, but Gerard Martín has not been a good replacement for Balde.
On Inter’s side, it was a tough weekend, and they are not in their best form. They were upset in Serie A by Roma, who beat them 0-1 at home, costing them the top spot in the league, now held by Napoli.
Inter Milan side have lost three straight matches, including a semifinal loss to AC Milan in the Coppa Italia (0-3), which eliminated them, and now they are four games without a win.
They struggled against Bayern until the last minute, although it’s worth noting they managed to win away. They are also missing one of their stars, Marcus Thuram, due to injury.
