Why Bet on Barcelona?

Barcelona is living its best moment of the season, finding offensive solutions in several players and, therefore, is now on track to qualify for the Champions League semifinals, which is its objective for 2024.

In the first leg, Xavi Hernandez’s team won 2-3 as visitors, in a good night for Raphinha, who scored twice. The other goal came from defender Andreas Christensen.  This Barcelona finds it easy to score goals, not only with their star player, Robert Lewandowski but with other pieces that are stepping into the box frequently.

Another important fact is that Pedri is available, and it showed in the first leg, giving a masterful assist to Raphinha just a minute after coming on.  There is no doubt that the return of the young midfielder is a great victory for Xavi.

However, the defense, at least in France, left much to be desired in marking Ousmane Dembélé, although it was able to stop Kylian Mbappé.

Barcelona has won every home game in the Champions League, scoring 13 goals and allowing four.

Gavi and Alejandro Baldé are the injured players Xavi has at the moment.

Why Bet on PSG?

Paris Saint-Germain has the Ligue 1 title in its favor, but the owners and fans desire to finally win the Champions League, which is unlikely this year.

The team lost 3-2 at home in the first leg against Barcelona, which meant that the goals scored by Dembélé and Vitinha were of little use.

The big problem that coach Luis Enrique had is that his star player, Kylian Mbappé, did not make the difference he usually presents. Jules Koundé and Ronald Araújo controlled him in a great way.

However, from Dembélé’s flank, they found scoring opportunities, but the lack of effectiveness was a present drawback in attack. In addition, the defense never knew how to close the spaces that Raphinha took advantage of.

Although they beat Real Sociedad in Spain, PSG has not been a great visitor, having taken four points out of a possible 12. In that condition, they have scored six goals and conceded the same amount.

Despite the bad start, Mbappé remains the hope of this team because he has six goals. The rest have only one.

Full-back Achraf Hakimi may be available after serving his suspension, but Layvin Kurzawa and Nordi Mukiele are still out.

Final Betting Analysis: Barcelona vs. PSG

The last time PSG visited Barcelona was in 2021 for the round of 16 of the Champions League and won 4-1, with Mbappé’s hat-trick and another goal from Moise Kean.  On that occasion, the French advanced with a 5-2 aggregate score.

The numbers at Gambyl Exchange have Barcelona as the favorite. The Moneyline for them shows 2.24, while PSG has 3.08, and the draw is at 4.09.

After doing the great deed in France, Barcelona will get a victory at home and qualify for the semifinals to wait for the rival between Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.  We’ll go for a 3-1.

Go for a win for Barcelona. If you bet $100 at 2.24, you will gain $124 for a total payout of $224.
