Rolex Paris Masters 2023 Preview

Rolex Paris Masters 2023

The Rolex Paris Masters 2023 is a professional men’s tennis tournament to be played on indoor hard courts. It will be the 51st edition of the tournament and a Masters 1000 event on the 2023 ATP Tour. It will take place at the Accor Arena in Paris from 30 October to 5 November 2023.

The Rolex Paris Masters is the ninth and final ATP Masters 1000 event of the season. As the final tournament of the regular men’s tennis season, the Palais Omnisports in Bercy showcases the cream of the crop as players vie to win the prestigious title and clinch the remaining qualifying spots in the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals.

The Singles will feature a 16-man bracket, but the draws will be made on October 30th.

The prize money is €5,779,335 and the Total Financial Commitment is €6,748,815.

The event looks like it will shape up to be very exciting as every Top 10 player has been scheduled to take to the courts at the final ATP 1000 tournament of the season. This is the first time since the US Open that each player has been present.

World No. 1 Novak Djokovic will head up the field, with his first appearance on the ATP Tour since he won his record 24th Grand Slam title at Flushing Meadows. Fans will be anticipating another epic clash between the 36-year-old and World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz.

There were concerns about whether or not Alcaraz would make it to Paris after he withdrew from the Swiss Indoors Basel this week due to two separate injuries. However, he has since provided an update in which he confirmed that he will be ready for the tournament.

Meanwhile, World No. 6 Rune will have the extra pressure of attempting to defend his title. The 20-year-old shocked the tennis world when he defeated Djokovic in last year’s final, but he has struggled on the circuit in recent months.

The Dane has not put back-to-back wins together since Wimbledon in July, but recently added Boris Becker to his coaching team in the hopes of ending 2023 on a high note.
