Top Surfers for the Rip Curl Rottnest Search Presented by Corona

The Rip Curl Rottnest Search Presented by Corona is sponsored by Rottnest Express and will be taking place from May 16 to May 26 This will be the fourth and final event of the Australia Championship Tour and it will have 36 of the best male surfers and 18 of the best female surfers competing for the title The event will have a 10 day window where each morning the WSL the commissioner will decide the contest based on the weather conditions This will ensure that surfers compete in the best waves possible The Rip Curl Rottnest Search will take place on the island of Rottnest a site where many of the participants have yet to surf at so this beach presents a real challenge for all competitors

Tatiana Weston Webb is one of the best surfers to date in which she is currently in 2nd place in the Womens CT She has had a very good year in which she placed in the top 3 spots at the Rip Curl Newcastle Cup presented by Corona Tatiana comes from winning first place at Boost Mobile Margaret River Pro presented by Corona defeating Stephanie Gilmore in the finals and adding 10000 points to her world statistics

According to the world surfing ranking Gabriel Medina is currently the best surfer in the world Despite his weak performance at the Boost Mobile Margaret River Pro presented by Corona tournament where he finished in 9th place Medina has finished in either 1st or 2nd place in all of his other competitions within 2021 

Italo Ferreira BR +45

Italo Ferreira after being number 1 for several months reached his last two events a little out of focus in which he finished in the 9th and 5th place This is far out of the norm for Ferreira especially after his victory in the Rip Curl Newcastle Cup presented by Corona
