The action of the 2022 World Surf League season calendar continues and this time we will have the Seat Pro Netanya. It returns to the beaches of Israel after a 2-year break and will be from March 15 to 17.

This will be the fifth edition of the Seat Pro Netanya corresponding to the Qualifying Series division (QS3000). This will be the second stop of the European Qualifying Series, where the young European promises will be allowed to show their full potential and dream of qualifying for the CS.

The Seat Pro Netanya will be held from March 15, 2022, on the beaches of Netanya, Israel.

The Best Contenders – Seat Pro Netanya – 2022 Surf – Men’s & Women’s

Top 2 Men’s

  • Joan Duru

Joan Duru is a French surfer and one of the greatest references in surfing in Europe for more than a decade. The goofy-footer has accustomed us to his excellent explosive repertoire of aerial movements, aggressive turns, and great instinct in the waves. His beginnings were in the famous beach breaks of the southwest of France.

Joan has not competed in the Championship Tour for 3 years. We know that this is his main objective in 2022. His best presentation in 2021 was second place in the ABANCA Pantin Classic Galicia Pro.

  • Ramzi Boukhiam

The Moroccan Ramzi Boukhiam is another of the veteran surfers who will participate in this Seat Pro Netanya. Ramzi played the 2013 season in the CT. However, due to his poor performance, he was unable to continue and has remained in the QS ever since. His best performance in 2021 was #13 in the Azores Airlines Pro.

Top 2 Women’s

  • Leticia Canales

The 27-year-old Spaniard, Leticia Canales, arrives at this Seat Pro Netanya with the mission of playing CS again, even though her 2021 season in that category was not what she would have dreamed of. In the QS, Leticia managed to obtain fifth place in the ABANCA Pantin Classic Galicia Pro and the #13 position in the Azores Airlines Pro. While her best presentation in the CS was the #25 position in the Michelob ULTRA Pure Gold Haleiwa Challenger.

  • Pauline Ado

French veteran Pauline Ado showed her talent very early and, in her teens, she had endorsement deals with big companies which gave her the privilege of traveling to exotic surf spots and sharing waves with her surfing idols.

Pauline had a very good year in the QS and her best performance was second place in the Azores Airlines Pro. While in the CS she got third place in the MEO Vissla Pro Ericeira.
