The Heritage Golf Classic or RBC Heritage is a golf tournament in the men’s category. Since 1969 we can enjoy it on the Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, United States. This is one of five invitational tournaments on the PGA Tour.
We can see this tournament annually in mid-April, specifically one week after the Augusta Masters, and is played at the Harbor Town Golf Links at the Sea Pines Resort. The RBC Heritage has a prize pool of $5.8 million, of which the winner receives $1 million.
For this tournament, 5 of the top 10 players in the world will be on the course for the RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing beginning Monday, April 11, 2022.
The highest-ranked player in the PGA Tour rankings is Collin Morikawa currently #3. Also, the present will be #5 Patrick Cantlay, #6 Cameron Smith, #7 Justin Thomas, and #8 Dustin Johnson.
We will also have the participation of other professional golfers who have managed to do a phenomenal role in the last tournaments they have played, such as the defending champion Stewart Cink, Davis Love III, Ian Poulter, Charl Schwartzel, Jordan Spieth, Harold Varner III, Matt Kuchar, Graeme McDowell, Webb Simpson, Brandt Snedeker, Abraham Ancer, Daniel Berger, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Tommy Fleetwood.
2022 Masters Tournament – Golf – PGA Tour – Betting Odds & Free Pick – Info
When: April 11 – 17, 2022.
Where? South Carolina, the USA
Morikawa has won two major majors, the 2020 PGA Championship and the 2021 Open Championship. He also has five excellent victories on the PGA Tour and is part of the United States national team that played in the Ryder Cup and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. For his part, Smith won his fifth PGA Tour title at the Players Amateur a few weeks ago, tying a record 10 birdies in the final round on a Monday.
Harbor Town has proven to be a popular stop on the PGA Tour but surprisingly hasn’t had many big-name winners over the years.
Harbor Town Golf Links is a product of golf course architect Pete Dye with the help of Jack Nicklaus. The field has narrow paths, oaks, pines, palmettos, and dark lagoons that stand out.
It is a Par 71 course that is 7,101 yards off the back tees, which is relatively short by PGA Tour standards.
