The Mexican team got its direct ticket to the Qatar 2022 World Cup, after beating El Salvador 2-0 at the Azteca Stadium, on the last date of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying, finishing in second place in the octagonal end.

With this victory, Mexico will participate for the seventeenth time in a fair of this nature. It’s important to notice that it has not been absent since the United States 1994.
