Kobayashi has been a surfer who has shown a high level in each of the competitions he has participated in.

Veteran surfer Evan Geiselman arrives at this prestigious event with the main mission of proving to himself and all surf lovers in the world that he is once again in top condition and that he has prepared himself enough to return to the Championship Tour, after 4 years of absence.
Evan had a spectacular year in 2021 in the QS, managing to qualify for the Challenger Series that year, but finished in #25 at the US Open of Surfing Huntington Beach presented by Shiseido.
Top 2 Women’s
- Bella Kenworthy
The young American Bella Kenworthy is one of the most acclaimed promises in surfing in the United States. At her young age, Bella has managed to achieve excellent results in the women’s QS division, against opponents who surpass her in age and, above all, experience.
In 2021, Bella participated in 3 QS tournaments, where she placed 5th in the SLO CAL Open at Pismo Beach and the SLO CAL Open at Morro Bay and an extraordinary 3rd place in the Ron Jon Roxy Pro.
- Leilani McGonagle
Finally, we have one of the favorites to take victory in the women’s category of the QS 1,500 in this Jack’s Surfboards Pro, Leilani McGonagle. Leilani has been very close to reaching the women’s CT, but her poor results in the Challenger Series have marginalized her from it.
Leilani comes from a fantastic year 2021, where she achieved excellent results in all the tournaments she played in the QS, with 3 third places and one-second place.
