Boxing Predictions:
Boxing April 30th: Shakur Stevenson vs. Oscar Valdez
This main event fight in Las Vegas is a big one, with both undefeated fighters at the front and the WBC and WBO Worlds, along with the Ring Magazine Super Featherweight Title on the line.
Stevenson has the talent to not only be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world but to lap the field.
He’s got great physical gifts, but he’s got a brilliant mind for boxing.
Valdez is an unbeaten world champion with a 77% knockout ratio, and the odds would suggest he’s little more than a tune-up.
Expect a lot more from this fight than what the odds show.
Our betting pick is on Stevenson for this match.
Boxing April 30th: Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano Franchon
The main event in New York gets the Undisputed Female Lightweight Title to be placed on the line.
Undefeated Katie Taylor is going to meet a grizzled fighter in Amanda Serrano, who comes with more than twice her opponent’s record and only one loss so far.
This lightweight title fight features two of the best female boxers in the world in a true 50/50 bout but is the first-ever main event in Madison Square Garden featuring female fighters.
Our pick is placed on Serrano, but this is going to be a tough test and an exciting match for all boxing fans.
Boxing April 30th: Franchon Crews-Dezurn vs. Elin Cederroos
Crews-Dezurn made her professional debut in 2016, losing to Claressa Shields. After that defeat, she has not lost any of her other bouts.
She won the WBC super-middleweight title in 2018 and won the WBO super middleweight title in 2019.
Cederroos made her debut in 2017.
The Swedish fighter won the IBF super-middleweight title against Femke Hermans.
Making her U.S. debut in January 2020, Cederroos beat Alicia Napoleon via unanimous decision to win the WBA super-middleweight title.
This fight is going to be an exciting one, but everyone leans to the Swedish Elin Cederroos.
