The Serie A Matchday 13 features an excellent match that is kind of a modern classic. However, things look a little unbalanced for Napoli against Roma.
The Partenopei come from two matches without a win. Still, things are not as bad as they look, as their last result was an excellent 1-1 draw against Inter in Milan.
La Lupa is in free fall and their last result was a 2-3 loss at home against Bologna.

Why bet on Napoli?
The Neopolitans have been the leaders for a while, thanks to their excellent win streak following their setback on the first matchday. However, they have not had the conviction to win against the teams at the top of the table, losing to Atalanta and drawing with Juve and Inter.
They have yet to face Fiorentina and Lazio, so it’s hard to tell if this team has the quality to win when it matters the most.
The club has the weakest offense in the top seven with 19 goals, with their top scorers being Kvaratskhelia and Lukaku with five and four goals, respectively. However, they boast the second-best defense in the league, only behind Juventus.
Antonio Conte’s work has centered on providing the solidity required to survive the hardest games. Still, they are doing just that, surviving, and now their advantage at the top is so measly that a single slip could take them all the way down to seventh place.
Why bet on Roma?
The Romans have been spiraling down fast this season. The team already has had three managers since August and is eleven points away from a spot in European competitions. Even with the likes of Dybala, Mancini, Dovbyk, Smalling, and more top-class players, the team has been totally incapable of performing at both ends of the pitch, allowing 17 goals and scoring only 14.
The start signing was the Ukranian center-forward, and he has performed below expectations, with only four goals in eleven games. While there seems to be a lack of quality in the engine room to provide him, with Pellegrini at a low level, Kone adapting, and Dybala perpetually indisposed, it is still hard to see him compromise in the pitch the same way he did with Girona.
Claudio Ranieri has a hefty challenge ahead, and while he is an experienced and sturdy professional, who has achieved miracles before, we have the sensation that he is in the twilight of his career and may not be the right choice.
Final Betting Analysis: Napoli vs. Roma
Both teams have shown great parity in the last 34 matches, with 14 victories for Napoli, 12 for Roma, and eight draws. The most recent five games tell a similar history with two wins for the Partenopei, one for La Lupa, and two draws. Their previous clash was a 2-2 draw in April this year for the Serie A.
The Neapolitans had shown flaws against strong teams but have already taken advantage of a gigant in a difficult streak, beating Milan not long ago. We believe they’ll repeat the dose, as Roma will need some time to settle under Ranieri if they ever manage to do so.
We’ll go for a 2-0.
