Then, at 71′, he put in at the far post a cross from Portuguese Bernardo Silva. The other goals were scored by Phil Foden, with a shot from the border of the area, and a penalty by the Argentine Julián Álvarez.

The Citizens reached 85 points and improved their goal difference to +58. Fulham remained on 44 points, in the lower mid-table zone, but saved from the possibility of relegation.

Tottenham finally returned to winning ways at home, beating Burnley 2-1 in the Premier League.

Although the visitors took the lead with a goal by Jacob Bruun Larsen in the 25th minute, Spanish full-back Pedro Porro scored a cross-shot to equalize, and the Dutchman Micky van de Ven turned it around in the 82nd minute. He showed all his quality, despite being a defender, and put the ball in the back of the net with a shot that hit the right-hand upright.

Spurs ended a streak of four defeats in a row and reached 63 points, which keeps them in fifth position and with possibilities of qualifying for the next Champions League, but they must beat Manchester City and Sheffield United and hope that Aston Villa lose in the last matchday. Burnley has 24 points, and its relegation was confirmed.

Arsenal has not lost the dream of being Premier League champion 20 years later, and in pro of that, it achieved an important 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The only goal of the match came in the 21st minute when German Kai Havertz broke down the right and crossed for Belgian Leandro Trossard, who was the only player in the heart of the box to push the ball in.

It was not the best game for the Londoners, who conceded the ball possession to the Red Devils, but the home side did not pose much danger to David Raya’s goal. On the other hand, Arteta’s men could have increased the lead at the end, but André Onana made some great saves.

The Gunners are top with 86 points, one more than Manchester City, although with a game in hand. Arsenal has a goal difference of +61, while the Citizens have +58, a fact that may be relevant next weekend. United is eighth with 54 points, confirming its disastrous season, but still with possibilities to qualify for the next Conference League.

Liverpool staged another performance to forget, wasting a 1-3 lead, and ended up drawing 3-3 with Aston Villa.

The Reds took the lead with an unusual own goal by “Dibu” Martinez, who put the ball into his net. Youri Tielemans equalized with a good finish at Alisson’s right post (12′). Cody Gakpo put Jürgen Klopp’s side on top in the 23rd minute, and Jarell Quansah headed in the third in the 48th minute.

But the Villans did not give up and scored the 2-3 with Jhon Durán from half distance at 85′, and the same player scored the equalizer with a rebound on his right thigh.

Liverpool is third with 79 points and will not fight for anything on the last matchday, while Aston Villa is fourth with 68 and is close to securing its qualification to the next Champions League.
