The Premier League has now two teams fighting for the title: Arsenal and Manchester City, who will have to wait until the last matchday to define the champion. 

The Gunners won a fundamental victory against Tottenham, so at least they will have more days in the first position. For their part, Manchester City beat Nottingham Forest with much suffering. 

Liverpool dropped out of the race, continuing their bad streak by drawing 2-2 with West Ham away and leaving a terrible image due to an argument between Mohamed Salah and coach Jürgen Klopp. 

On the other hand, Wolves continued to plunge Luton Town into the relegation zone, which has not been able to get out of the red zone.

Liverpool’s season is coming to a traumatic close, as this time they drew 2-2 with West Ham and practically ran out of chances to become Premier League champions. 

Jared Bowen headed the Hammers ahead after 43 minutes, but in the second half, Andy Robertson equalized with a shot that hit the left post (48′). Cody Gakpo shot at goal and was fortunate that the ball bounced off Alphonse Areola and ended up inside the net. But in the 77th minute, a defensive lapse allowed West Ham to equalize with a header by Michail Antonio. 

The Reds were left with 75 points, five behind Arsenal, and have only one victory in the last five Premier League games. West Ham is eighth with 49 points and maintains a slim chance of qualifying for the Conference League.

Wolves snapped a dismal seven-game winless streak with a 2-1 home win over Luton, who are very close to securing their ticket to the second division. 

South Korea’s Hee-Chan Hwang opened the scoring in the 39th minute after dancing his way past a defender and heading in at the far post. With a header, Toti increased the score in the 50th minute, and Carlton Morris scored for Luton in the 80th minute. 

With this victory, Wolverhampton reached 46 points, while Luton is 18th with 25 points, only one behind Forest, with whom they are fighting for relegation.

Arsenal overcame probably the most difficult barrier in the calendar and still holds the Premier League leadership (with a game in hand), as they defeated Tottenham 2-3 in the London derby. 

As visitors, the Gunners took the lead with an own goal by midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from a corner kick (15′). Then, Bukayo Saka made the second after a hook in the area and kick to the far post, while the third celebration was the work of German Kai Havertz with a header at 37′. 

The match was under Arsenal’s control, but Spurs pulled one back with a shot from the midfield by “Cuti” Romero after a gross mistake by David Raya (64′). A Heung-Min Son penalty at 87′ added a final drama to the game, but the victory went to the visitors. 

Mikel Arteta’s men were able to hold on to the result and reach 80 points, but they have a game in hand over Manchester City (79). Tottenham is fifth with 60 points and is moving away from the Champions League.

Manchester City continues its pursuit of Arsenal and, this time, defeated Nottingham Forest 0-2 without any problems. 

Kevin De Bruyne delivered a precise cross for Josko Gvardiol to score the first goal in the 32nd minute. Then, in the 71st minute, the Belgium man set up Erling Haaland, who faced a defender and shot across the face of the goal to inflate the net. The Norwegian has now scored in three consecutive games in the Premier League and is the top scorer in the competition with 21, one more than Cole Palmer. All occurred amid spells of good plays by Nottingham, who were unable to score due to Chris Wood having a terrible day in front of goal. 

The Citizens reached 79 points, one point behind Arsenal and with a game in hand. Forest is 17th with 26 points, one point above the relegation zone.
