The Premier League is in full swing, and we have already enjoyed three phenomenal matchdays in the last few weeks. While there have been a few surprises, two of the favorites, Manchester City and Liverpool, are at the top of the standings.
This weekend, we witnessed a draw between Brighton and Arsenal, a demonstration that the Seagulls are playing at a high level, even standing up to the big boys of the Premiership. On the other hand, the Red Devils lost 0-3 against Liverpool in a match where their DT, Erik Ten Hag, had no choice but to charge some of his players for their disappointing performance against the Reds.
The Magpies beat Spurs at home, while Chelsea still showed no signs of life as they drew their game against Crystal Palace at home.

The most surprising result of the day came at the Emirates Stadium, where Brighton managed to draw 1-1 against Arsenal, one of the favorites to fight for the championship.
Things started with Arsenal approaching the opponent’s area in the first minutes, but the effectiveness of the strikers was not adequate in this situation. However, Kai Havertz managed to score the 1-0 for the Gunners in the 39th minute.
At the start of the second half, everything went Brighton’s way as Declan Rice was sent off after receiving a second yellow card, leaving the Gunners exposed for almost 45 minutes. As a result, the visitors took advantage and the control of the ball.
After several scoring chances in consecutive minutes, Brighton equalized in the 58th minute thanks to João Pedro’s goal. They had many chances to score the second goal, but the Gunner’s defense was solid in the last minutes and saved a draw.

Aston Villa fulfilled the predictions in this away match and achieved an excellent victory over Leicester City with a score of 2-1. As expected, the Villians had a much more solid approach than their rivals, and despite playing away, they took the lead in the 28th minute thanks to Amadou Onana’s goal.
With 1-0 on the scoreboard, the game went to the break, and both teams rethought their ideas for the second half. After several unsuccessful attacks at the start of the second half, Jhon Durán scored 2-0 for Aston Villa, which undoubtedly gave them a lot of peace of mind for the rest of the match.
Finally, in the 73rd minute, Facundo Buonanotte scored Leicester City’s consolation goal to put the game to bed.

Manchester City delivered for the third consecutive match and tooka stupendous 3-1 victory, thanks to another hat-trick by Erling Haaland.
City started the match at full throttle, dominating the ball at all times and creating scoring chances. Thanks to this, Haaland was able to score the first goal of the match in the 10th minute.
However, West Ham managed to put Pep Guardiola’s side under pressure and, in the 19th minute, forced an own goal from Ruben Dias to level the score at 1-1.
However, this did not deter the Citizens, as in the 30th minute, the Norwegian monster scored the second goal of the afternoon to give City a 2-1 lead.
Finally, a few minutes before the match came to a close, specifically in the 83rd minute. Haaland scored his third goal of the match to give Manchester City its third win of the season.

Finally, Newcastle could display all its potential at St. James’ Park to take an excellent victory over Spurs with a score of 2-1. It was a strange match, where Tottenham had the ball for almost the entire 90 minutes and even had more chances to score than Newcastle. However, the Magpies were decisive in their attacks to take the win.
After several important attacks in the first half hour of the match, the locals scored the first goal in the 37th minute through Harvey Barnes.
Then, in the 11th minute of the second half, the Spurs forced an own goal from Dan Burn to make the score 1-1. However, 22 minutes later, Alexander Isak managed to score Newcastle’s second goal to give his team a 2-1 home win.
