Manchester United suffered their first defeat of the season when they lost 1-2 in this away match against Brighton. Despite having a core of stars, United seems to have a curse on them that does not allow them to be decisive against a strong opponent in the Premier League.
The match started with a tremendous back-and-forth, with both teams having several chances to score in the early stages. However, it was Brighton who were able to take the lead in the 32nd minute, thanks to Danny Welbeck’s goal.
In the second half, specifically in the 60th minute, United took advantage of a gap in the defense of the home team to score 1-1 at the feet of Amad Diallo.

In an intense and exciting match, the Gunners defeated the Villans 2-0 away, to take a step forward and continue in the fight for supremacy in the table with Liverpool and Manchester City.

In the second half, things began to change little by little, as the attacks were much more dangerous and vertical, especially on the part of the Gunners. It wasn’t until the 67th minute that Leandro Trossard opened the scoring with a great goal to put Arsenal ahead 1-0.

Finally, Liverpool continued their high-tempo start to the season with a 2-0 win over Brentford at Anfield.
Klopp may be gone, but his “Rock and Roll” style of soccer continues to resonate at Anfield. Liverpool’s emphatic and authoritative win over Brentford at home serves as a strong message to the entire English soccer scene that this team is a force to be reckoned with. While it is still too early to predict how far they can go this season, the performance fills up with optimism.
The match showed the essence of the new Liverpool team, characterized by high speed, intense pace, and attacking play from all directions. There are clear parallels with the peak period under Jürgen Klopp, whose influence is still evident in their style of play. The new manager has opted to build on the solid foundation established by the German tactician rather than completely overhaul the team.
Luis Diaz scored the team’s first goal in the 13th minute, while Mohamed Salah sealed the game in the 70th minute with another truly classy strike.
Result: Liverpool (2) – (0) Brentford
