Matchday 15 of the Premier League ended with Liverpool’s lead being shortened due to unusual circumstances. A storm prevented the teams from entering the pitch, so the match had to be postponed. Meanwhile, Manchester City continued to falter, and the two London giants at the top established themselves as the Red’s closer chasers.
As in most of the last few seasons, it seems like the battle for relegation will be far from interesting. Ipswich Town, Wolves, and Southampton seem to be a couple of levels below what is required to compete in the Premier League.
In the middle of the table, we find Manchester United, West Ham, Tottenham, and Newcastle, four teams that have plenty of resources but are far from the level they should be showing with their rosters.

Premier League Matchday 15: Crystal Palace 2-2 Manchester City
As we said in our preview, defensive errors by City could change the shape of the match in a second, and that is exactly what happened. An unintelligent moment at the back led to an early goal by Muñoz at the beginning of the match.
The SkyBlues were trailing two times and managed to tie. It seemed that they could achieve acomeback at the end, but an error by the referee led to Rico Lewis’s expulsion, and the match practically ended at that moment.
At least, the Citizens have two games getting points, and Erling Haaland managed to score again, reaching Mohamed Salah at the top of the scoring charts again.
Raul Jimenez keeps being the best player of Fulham and carrying the Londoners while they traverse midtable waters. An early goal by the Mexican gave shape to a match that became swampy for the Gunners, who were aspiring to get some expected three points and close the distance with Liverpool.
With only 12 shots and only four on target, something failed to function well in the offensive department for Arsenal, who has got a new life thanks to Martin Ødegaard’s return.
Best game of the weekend on paper, the best game in the practice. What a match, what an end to it. Pure Premier League for us to enjoy.
At first, it seemed like the Spurs would provide the same dose to the Blues as they applied to Manchester City some weeks ago, getting two early strikes to stun the visitors. However, Chelsea is no City, and we mean this as they don’t get so easily shaken by the Lillywhites.
Goals by Sancho, Palmer, and Fernandez completed the comeback, as the Blues knew that Tottenham was not firm at the back and took advantage of it. Heung Min Son got the final goal of the match via a penalty in the sixth minute of injury time, but it was too late to get the miracle.
Ange Postecoglu should be very thankful for Manchester City’s recent woes, as he is basically maintaining his project thanks to a couple of victories against them this season. Otherwise, his dismissal would be heavily considered by the board.
