Southampton have had a terrible start to the season, picking up zero points in their first three games after losing everything. However, the season is still just getting startedand they can manage to secure points in the coming weeks to get out of the relegation zone. Southampton have one goal for and five against, so they will have to solidify the defense if they want to succeed against United. The team comes from being annihilated by Brentford by 1-3.
United have struggled for consistency so far, as they managed a win against Fulham 1-0 in their first game of the season, but then, lost to Brighton (1-2) and Liverpool (0-3) in their next two games. Erik ten Hag’s men have shown glimpses of their potential, but have yet to put in a complete performance. However, they now have a great opportunity to get back to winning ways against a struggling Southampton side.
While Manchester United’s superior quality should see them through this match, Southampton’s tenacity and home advantage could make this a tightly contested clash. However, we’ll take a win for Manchester United this time around.

However, they will be buoyed by their impressive home record against Arsenal, having won three of their last four home games.
