NFL Week 8Â Roundup: Lions 52 – 14 Titans
The Detroit Lions dominated the Tennessee Titans with a staggering 52-14 victory, showcasing their prowess in both offense and defense. After a shaky start, they quickly took control, emphasizing their strategy of not justwinning, but embarrassing opponents.
Key players like David Montgomery made crucial contributions, demonstrating the team’s depth and versatility.
After seven weeks of the NFL, the Lions showcased that they are top of the class ofthe NFC. They punctuated that with an oddball game, where there were far more return yards on special teams than passing yards.
A strange day, a unit mismatch, and a whole lot of statements made the fans feel like the epitome of the early season for the 2024 Lions.
NFL Week 8Â Roundup: Seahawks 10 – 31 Bills
Red zone disasters and abysmal defense meant Josh Allen and company cruised to a 31-10 win over the Seahawks at Lumen Field, which might as well have been Buffalo’s best game this season.
It’sSeattle’s third straight home loss, and with the Arizona Cardinals winning earlier in the day, the Seahawks are out of first place in the NFC West and could fall to last place heading into the bye week if they aren’t careful.
This team is bad, don’t let last week fool you. The Bills are a great team, but the Seahawks are bad. And the vibes feel worse after this defeat.
NFL Week 8Â Roundup: Raiders 20 – 27 Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs traded for DeAndre Hopkins last week in hopes of sparking a sometimes stagnant passing game. They improved to 7-0 with the win to remain the NFL’s only unbeaten team.
Bad news is in for the Raiders, as they are 0-3 in their first turn against AFC West opponents. They are the only team in the division with a losing record after the second quarter of the season, racking up to a 2-6.
With the win, Kansas City coach Andy Reid improved to 5-0 during the regular season at Allegiant Stadium, with a win in each Chiefs road game in Las Vegas since the stadium opened in 2020. Adding last season’s Super Bowl win over the San Francisco 49ers, andReid’s Chiefs are 6-0 in the Raiders’ home stadium.
