Super Bowl

All year waiting for this moment so that in the blink of an eye we are already in the sixth week of the 2022-23 NFL season, that is, soon we will be analyzing the teams that will be in the next postseason.

With 5 weeks already played in the National Football League, we have that the Philadelphia Eagles continue to demonstrate that their goal is to be in the next Super Bowl to be held in February 2023, since they are the only team in the league that remains undefeated.

Likewise, several of this season’s favorite teams have also managed to get the rhythm they needed and are leading their respective divisions. The Buffalo Bills in the AFC Eastthe Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West, and the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC North; all these teams with a record of 4 wins and 1 loss, with their sights set on the playoffs.

We must highlight the awakening of the Titans who, after losing the first two games of the season, have managed to get back on their feet and, with 3 wins in a row, have taken first place in the AFC South.

The Steelers, Raiders, Commanders, Lions, and Panthers continue to disappoint their fans and cannot find the formula that will lead them to victory. So much so that the Panthers made the early decision to fire head coach Matt Rhule after leaving the team with a negative 1-4 record. Now, Steve Wilks, secondary coach, and defensive aerial coordinator will be the interim coach to take over the team.

The Jets snapped a streak of 12 consecutive losses in divisional games. Breece Hall has star potential and Sauce Gardner recorded the first interception of his career.

A lot has happened in just 5 weeks of the NFL championship, which makes us think that the rest of the season will be much more intense and, above all, exciting.

Now, below, we will have a preview of the best games you can enjoy in this week 6 of the NFL, with their respective betting odds and free picks.

NFL Week 6 – Preview – Commanders vs. Bears

In this week 6 of the 2022-23 NFL season, the game that will kick off the action on Thursday Night Football will be between Washington Commanders and Chicago Bears, which will be played this Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears at 08:15 pm ET.

The Bears are 7-1 in their last eight home games, while the Commanders are 2-6 in their last eight away games and are the underdog.

Chicago Bears almost pulled off the upset in week 5 of the NFL when they faced the Minnesota Vikings, thanks to their quarterback Justin Fields, who managed to play his best game in a long time after achieving 15/21 pass completions for 208 yards and 1 touchdown. But this was not enough for the Bears, and they were defeated with a score of 22-29.

We can still observe how they do not trust Fields 100% in the attacks and the Bear’s offense tries to get touchdowns on the ground, but, he has already shown that he is at his highest competitive level and that he can be a determining factor in the rest of the season.

On the other hand, we have the Washington Commanders, one of the worst teams in the league at the beginning of the season. Not only do we say this because of the 4 consecutive losses they are coming into this week, but their level of play has been disappointing and there seems to be nothing to do with the team.

Washington has only 35 total points scored in its last 3 games played. Carson Wentz is having a lot of inconsistency at the start of the season, and we do not doubt that this offense is missing rookie receiver Jahan Dotson, who might be available to play in this game against the Bears.

That said, for this game, our selection is a win for Chicago Bears and, additionally we select the Bears SPREAD at -1 (-110).

Washington Commanders vs. Chicago Bears Betting Pick: Chicago Bears

NFL Week 6 – Preview – Dolphins vs. Vikings

When: Sunday, October 16 at 01:00 pm ET

Moneyline odds: Miami Dolphins +131 / Minnesota Vikings -161 (Source: MyBookie.ag)

Where Can I Watch it? CBS / ESPN / Fox Sports.

Where Can Stream? NFL Network

The NFL continues its Sunday schedule this October 16, 2022, when the Miami Dolphins host the Minnesota Vikings at Hard Rock Stadium, located in MiamiFlorida, at 1:00 pm ET.

The Dolphins lead the series against the Vikings with an 8-5 record, including 1 postseason game in the 1974 Super Bowl, where Miami pulled off a dramatic 24-7 victory. The last time these teams met was in 2018 when Minnesota crushed the Dolphins 41-17 at home.

The Vikings come into this week 6 as one of the best teams in the league, after signing their 3rd consecutive victory in the previous week against the Chicago Bears, with a score of 29-22.

In this game, the Vikings had their quarterback Kirk Cousins with 32 passes completed in 41 attempts, for 296 yards and 1 touchdown. Also, outstanding was their star running back Dalvin Cook, who had 18 carries for 94 yards and scored 2 touchdowns.

Thanks to this victory, the Vikings lead the NFC North with a 4-1 record.

On the other hand, we have the Miami Dolphins, one of the teams that had an excellent start to the season achieving 3 consecutive victories, but they have suffered 2 defeats in their last two games that have left many unknowns in the team.

The Dolphin’s most recent loss was to the New York Jets last Sunday with a terrible score of 40-17. After losing their starting quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, in the Week 4 game against the Cincinnati Bengalsthe Dolphins look nothing like that team that won the first three games of the season. Tagovailoa’s health status for Week 6 remains uncertain as he works through concussion protocol.

Although the game will be played in Miami, we believe the Vikings will use their inspiration and the Dolphins’ lack of a quarterback to take the win. That’s why our pick is a 22-10 win for the Vikings.

Miami Dolphins vs. Minnesota Vikings Betting Pick: Minnesota Vikings

NFL Week 6 – Preview – Cardinals vs. Seahawks

When: Sunday, October 16 at 04:25 pm ET

Moneyline odds: Arizona Cardinals -156 / Seattle Seahawks +127 (Source: MyBookie.ag)

Where Can I Watch it? CBS / ESPN / Fox Sports.

NFL action will continue this Sunday, October 16 when the Arizona Cardinals travel to Seattle to face the Seahawks in Week 6. This game will be played at Lumen Field at 04:25 pm ET.

In one of the tightest divisions in the league, the NFC West, these two teams are tied with the Rams and very close to the first place in the standings, the 49ers, so the winner of this game will have a good chance to be at the top of the standings.

The Cardinals come into this week 6 as one of the teams that have shown the most inconsistencies throughout the 5 games they have played, and that is because they have not been able to win consecutive games, boosting a record of 2-3.

Despite this, Arizona played what would be the most solid game for them so far this season last Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, but they still could not win and ended up losing with a score of 17-20. In this game, quarterback Murray accumulated 250 yards for 66.7% in pass completions (28/42).

Now, Arizona needs to win in Seattle if they want to keep holding on until Deandre Hopkins returns from injury.

On the other hand, we have the Seattle Seahawks team that for many experts would be the worst of this season, but, is one of those that has been giving a pleasant surprise, since, despite having a record of 2 wins and 3 losses, they have shown a relentless offense, making their rivals have a lot of trouble to beat them.

The Seahawks have scored 23, 48, and 32 in their last three games played. Geno Smith is third among starting quarterbacks with 8.3 yards per attempt, first in pass completion percentage, and has nine touchdown passes with only two interceptions.

However, even though the game will be played at Lumen Field, our pick is a win for the Cardinals and a SPREAD to Arizona at -3.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks Betting Pick: Arizona Cardinals

NFL Week 6 – Preview – Chargers vs. Broncos

When: Monday, October 17 at 08:15 pm ET

Moneyline odds: Los Angeles Chargers -229 / Denver Broncos +183 (Source: MyBookie.ag)

Where Can I Watch it? CBS / ESPN / Fox Sports.

Where Can Stream? NFL Network

Finally, we close this NFL Week 6 preview with the game between the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos, which will be the protagonist of this week’s Monday Night Football on October 17, 2022, at SoFi Stadium, home of the Chargers at 08:15 pm ET.

This Monday’s game will mark the 125th regular season match between these two teams, where the Broncos have the historical advantage with a 69-54-1 record over the Chargers, but the Californian team has managed to win the last two games they have played between them.

Denver comes into this week after a start to the season that for many have been dreadful, despite having a 2-3 record and, if they have an important winning streak, they could fight for first place.

Likewise, the Broncos’ main flaw at the beginning of the season has been their offense, which has been so poor that they have only been able to score 75 points, surpassing only the Colts in this area. Precisely, they are coming off a loss to the latter with a score of 12-9.

On the other hand, we have the Los Angeles Chargers, a team that had a shaky start this season after 1 win and 2 losses in their first 3 games, but they have managed to recover and with 2 consecutive wins they have regained that level of play that has characterized them in several seasons.

The Chargers were supposed to have a world-class defense, but they are allowing almost 28 points per game.

LA is coming off a 30-28 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in which the Browns missed a field goal late in the game. Obviating the 38-10 loss at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3, the Chargers look like a solid team to be in the postseason.

That’s why our pick for this game is a Los Angeles Chargers win.
