NFL Week 5 – Roundup and Results

The number of good games this NFL week 5 was once again surprising even for the biggest football fans. There was a rout by the Bills and the Patriots, a 71-point game, and the team winning the fifth straight game of the season.

Week 5 kicked off with the Colts’ visit to the Broncos on Thursday night. Many already predicted the balance between the two teams, but the truth is that the Colts practically shut the Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. Neither team managed to score a touchdown, and what was seen was a lot of field goals happening. The Colts turned the game around in the end, scoring in the last quarter and also in overtime. 12-9 win for the visitors.

NFL Week 5 – Roundup and Results

Everyone keeps an eye on the Philadelphia Eagles winning streak, which has won another game and continues with 5 wins in 5 games in the current season. as NFC East leaders, the Eagles visited and beat the Cardinals 20-17, in a game that brought no less than 63,000 people to the stadium. Philli was better in the first and third quarters, attacking and not allowing its opponent to score any points. After that match, the Cardinals have 3 losses in 5 games and are in third place in the NFC West.

The Houston Texans finally won their first game this season. Visiting the Jaguars, the Texans scored six points in the second quarter and 7 more in the fourth. With 13 points, it was enough to defend well the plays of the hosts to guarantee the victory. After the loss, the Jaguars are third in the AFC South and the Houston Texans remain at the bottom of the same group, with a win, a draw, and three losses.

The Bills received the Steelers and delivered a crushing rout (38-3). The Buffalo Bills reached their fourth win in five games, becoming one of the best teams in the current NFL season. Buffalo leads the AFC Eastthe Steelers are dead last in the AFC North, and just a little over one month into the season, they seem to be already thinking about the next tournament.

The Raiders and Chiefs still face off today to close out the fifth round.
